Cool looking industrial space with that cement wall!... I did think you had Pop-Tarts lined up on your coffee table, though Wink

I know you've probably answered this before, but what brand sub and center is that?

hello,

Thanks for the advice, I'm sure the BL11 does sound fantastic. Geoff Martin has some good answers on his blog about the effect of a sub on a 2-way speaker's performances in the mid-range. I'm looking forward to experiencing this.

I was actually more considering buying a BL19 as it is wireless. Also, I'm a big fan of its design.

Does anyone have an experience using the BL18+BL19 combo ? Smile

One thing to consider when considering a BL19 is that unless you use the wireless transmitter to talk to both the BL19 and BL18, there will not be a high pass filter/crossover for the BL18. The internal Bl19 crossover is only a low pass one for the sub, the BL18 would still be reproducing all the bass sent to it, removing the benefits of taking the bass out of the BL18s.

Jeff- thanks for your reply. I also have a WISA-enabled BV11 as my setup's central brain. I assume the BV11 will serve as the wireless transmitter you're taking about ?

Ah, yes, the BV11 should have all the smarts to route signals to each speaker appropriately, wired or wirelessly. Part of the B&O video/audio engine in it is the ability to recognize speakers and allocate frequencies to each as far as I understand it.

Initial 'preview' picture (I guess you can consider that a 'flash'). Full room pictures on the way (once I complete the setup), but the sun shining through the blinds just looked so sweet to not take the photo.

Your photo describes the first one or two beats of "Also sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss or "Let the sun shine in" ...

My father used to work in the factory in Copenhagen many years ago....

....when they were still Made in DK!

Nowadays the produktion is placed in  Hungary, Italy, Germany, USA, Mexico, Brasil, China and Denmark. The RD is partly still in DK.

Classic example of an old danish industry group.

Mine says GM 90 MM, I have had one from new for more than 30 years. A classic piece of Danish manufacturing which I get serviced every 3 years and comes back to me as new. How many "white goods" can get that old and keep going ?

I believe the new ones have Phillips motors.......   Whistle

I had never thought I would start watching a movie in a car, but I must admit it can be the case in a B&O equipped one, while waiting for my girlfriend to get ready... Big Smile

l just realised that your photo montage was using the actual 2017 A5. I thought you'd put an A4 front on a 2015 model. They've lost their way?

I think that's the exact same Ikea floor lamp I have sitting to the immediate right of my BS9000. An it is very cool.

It's from ikea a few years ago. I put a hue bulb in it so I can change it to any colour. They currently sell a smaller version of the lamp and made with glass rather than plastic.
