I always shorten visible cables to my needs as I don't like to have long cables hanging around my devices. It looks nicer and more professional.
But anyway, your BS1 really rocks the kitchen

back to the future ....
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Wonderful picture, Mark. I used to own a complete Beosystem 6500 set up with a Beolink 7000. I ordered a floorstand from a seller in Europe and was using a voltage transformer here in the US. That was a long time ago. Oh how much I loved B&O's two way communication... Thanks for putting a smile on my face.

Why not show us your B&O? You could have uploaded something instead of your pointless comment.
Previous comment is directed to Millemissen..
off topic but this forum is terrible when using an iPad, no edit feature works?! And double commenting happens so much
Good choice! Looks amazing.

Duels: Rob.B: Why not show us your B&O? You could have uploaded something instead of your pointless comment. I might be wrong Rob but I believe MM and Peter know each other in "real life". If so MMs comment should perhaps be viewed with that in mind.

back to topic: For me this thread is not about bragging, it's like an inspiration of home setups in terms of a/v equipment and furniture etc. The technical side - like Peter Pans postings - is very important for me, too.

Maybe my BL19 sub. Now I have rose gold.
Rickiefauster:The train track was not in the design but the BV Bookshelf is up!
Lovely atmospheric scene
your room is my dream !
how does the subwoofer work inside the frame of the bookshelf ? or do you lift it down when in use !

If that's the case and they're discussing here in the forum, too, everything is okay between them - unless the forum is the only place where they talk to each other. back to topic: For me this thread is not about bragging, it's like an inspiration of home setups in terms of a/v equipment and furniture etc. The technical side - like Peter Pans postings - is very important for me, too.

Exactly this was my point!
I fully agree (even if I don't agree on the importance of that particular proposed device).
But this does not belong in this thread - and Peter Pan already posted it in another!
To my understanding this thread is about real setups/pieces of gear, that people wan't to show.
Personally I posted a pic of my 'new radio' in my V1-32 a couple of days ago.
Perhaps nothing to 'flash', but very important to me - and probably to other standalone BV11/V1 owners too.
To me this 'function' is as worthy as a 'piece of gear', that you can take a picture of and flash here, because they are happy with it and proud of it.
P.S. Peter Pan and I do know each other (actually did for some time now) ;-)
We actually do talk to another (and write - and meet) and we often cooperate on his thread 'Bang & Olufsen club' on the danish Hifi4All forum.
But ---- there are a lot of things we don't agree on!

Ah I see, but please remember that not all of us here know that. Now that I know that I see your comment to PP in a different light, but when I originally read it I found it rude (not knowing that you were friends outside of this site).
That said, I agree 100 % that this thread should be about beostuff that exist and that we actually own. :)
Wow wow wow Take10 I really like your cabinet, I've always wanted todo similar so I can showoff my 9500 whilst also offering a practical bookshelf.
Did you start off the design around the TV or modify to accept the TV?
Hi Take10
Very nice looking indeed ;-)
But how the h**l did you get the tv into that small space?
