Flashing a different bit of the B&O legacy, The immaculate service manuals from back when products were built to be maintained and repaired.

Those two comprehensive BS9000 documents will make my specimen live forever.

Makes you wonder,- are the OEM plastic boxes even repairable. Are they just destined for a final destination in a landfill?

We got a new house 3 years ago, the BV10 did not follow, so we got a non B&O setup, was never satisfied with how it looked, how it worked, and I got brainfreez from having 3-4 remotes on the livingroom table. So I finally got a new setup, Avant 55, BL8000 as fronts and BL6000 as rears. I have a DALI sub that Im thinking of setting up aswell.

Strange the picture is perfect condition on my computer, but not here.. The PS4 is set behind the TV, ATV4K is inside the tv.

Just need to put the speaker mains and Powerlink in some of the rubber cable sleeve that dealers seem to sell, then it’s finished and I can find my next project :)

passion / paSHən / noun

It is more than just enthusiasm or excitement, passion is ambition that is materialized into action to put as much heart, mind body and soul into something as is possible.

Thanks Big Smile

Yes, I believe that was the BV10 back then.

@ BeoGreg.

I share your sentiment completely. The joy you get from having these functional masterpieces around every day can be almost spiritual.

Especially the BS9000 working its magic in a room, with the lights turned down to no more than of a few candles,- thanks to the LC2.

Not sure who actually designed that piece though, -  Does anyone know?

One thing is for sure,- that LC2 sparked an interest in B&O, when I put one up in my daughter's room. Now its followed by a BC6, ML and a set of BL4.

A new generation of Beolovers ;-)

Still makes a ticking sounds and get’s worse when you go into the app. I cancelled something in the app in the setup and it was like a gunshot went off and iam not exaggerating that one bit, it scared my better half in the other room with two doors closed in between. Also when the speakers try and connect to the internet for what ever reason they tick. This is now my second pair, it’s slightly better becuase it’s quieter, but it’s still very audible. 6 months of issues

B&O in the Wild

A long time ago I noticed a BS9000 + a pair of BL4000 in a Parisian store called "La Bagagerie".

Yesterday I visited one of their other stores here, and guess what, same setup!

So I asked the saleswoman and she said that all their stores are equipped in the same way...

8 Shops in Paris, 9 elsewhere in France...

Sorry, no photos

Yes - thumbs up
