Allianz:Thank you for the offer Mikipidia but at least for now happy to have my lower "profile".
I understand, just know you can wear a wig and fake beard if you like or just show an avatar too if that helps? Or wear a Darth Vader helmet and do the voice that goes with it
I bet people would just love to know the story about how you put this all together and managed to make it work together too. It looks lovely!
Kind regards,
-Michael

WOW!
Just a small question..
I know..i know..that is not nice question..but...how much did you invest in B&O till now?
marexy: Just a small question.. I know..i know..that is not nice question..but...how much did you invest in B&O till now?
I honestly have not been counting. I started this B&O hobby 2018. S8 was my first from blackfriday sale 2017 and soon after that 18&19
@Allianz I’m really astonished by your marvelous setup. I’m also curious how you integrated the subs with your B&O equipment? Do they turn on automatically when your TV goes on? Same for all the Beolabs? @Mikipedia is totally right, please share your story :-)
Here is my Beoloab 4000's :) I just designed this shelf for them and had it built to my specs. Hope you like it.
I made it so if you flip the records forward you can see the iPad in the notch it sits in. The iPad either controls the Yamaha System powering it or I just stream from Apple Music/Spotify etc wirelessly to the speakers.
This is how I made use of the space under the record bin. Hid the Yamaha system and pre-amp.

I'd posted some photos of my various B&O setups last week, but I think they were lost when the site was restored, so I'm posting them again--with a few extras. We just completed our latest and (for now) final installation in our new home--and we're really enjoying the full B&O experience.

Fantastic!
Besides all the B&O-stuff I like your collection of the Vitra George Nelson clocks in the house. Classic design objects!
Aussie Michael:Josh. Your house and collection is beautiful It looks like your collection is mainly brass and smoked oak ? Is that true of your 3 Harmonies ?
It looks like your collection is mainly brass and smoked oak ? Is that true of your 3 Harmonies ?
Thanks! Yes, the Harmonys are all brass/smoked oak. We chose this finish for 3 reasons: 1) After years of having nickel hardware in our previous homes, we selected all brass fittings for this home, and wanted to keep the look consistent throughout our home. 2) I wanted the flexibility of moving speakers around without mismatched systems. 3) It's what my wife liked most, and therefore she didn't really give me a hard time as things added up.
I should also point out it was not my intention to have 3 Harmonys. I originally planned an Eclipse for the office for some variety, but settled on the Harmony, again as it's what my wife liked best and it gave us the ability to better hide the game systems behind the TV so they wouldn't be visible from the front.

Thanks. I'm almost as obsessed with clocks (and watches) as I am with B&O, and I'm a big fan of Nelson's designs, as evidenced by some of the other furniture in our home.

Fansastic:Thumbs up for your collection and interior design taste! Quite a stunning collection. Noticed you use the 28’s as rears in the office and you have 18’s as extra rear in your bedroom. Shouldn’t you switch the 18 to rears in the office and have 28’s as fronts there? Surely you have thought this through very carefully, as you have done with your complete gear. I’m also into brass completely. Have ordered additional BL50’s and Harmony in brass, as this colour is EOL. Such a shame as it is the best colour for my taste, just blends in so nice and more warmer then normal alu.

Thanks. We have the two pairs of 18s and a 19 in the bedroom for full surround, as after the family room, that's where my wife and I watch most of our TV/movies. We also utilize different speaker groups there for background music with the speakers playing in double stereo, or listening in either the bed or the chair with only one pair of 18s (the 19 is used for all modes). The TV in the office doesn't get as much use by us for TV/movies as the other Harmonys, except by our daughter, who watches/plays video games there after work hours. So the 28s were placed with a focus on the lounge chair for more critical music listening, with the added benefit of using them as rear surrounds utilizing the Harmony for front left, center and right. So, for music, we use wide mode while at our desks, and narrow mode for listening in the lounge chair.
And, yes, it's a shame if indeed the brass tone is going EOL, as we quite like it and it was a real selling point for us. But I guess it'll always be available bespoke for a premium, so perhaps it's just raised the value of our systems in the future (not that I'm thinking of parting with them).
