Fansastic:why didn't B&O just push this important update to all users in the first place?!
IF a serious bug is found then the update is not spread towards all TV sets...
Anyone managed to get BeoRemote App to work from iPhone or iPad? I just get an immediate "no Bang & Olufsen products detected on network" even though I have confirmed that they are on the same network. Once that message appears you can't get out of the app. I have removed and reinstalled the app but no difference. Any help would be appreciated.
I was led to believe it would come as part of the latest update! Perhaps it fell off the list again! Is it a worthwhile addition to the actual BeoRemote?

OK, so i have got Join to work, which is nice......
Interesting.....i linked my A9 and BS2 to the television....their internal sources can be selected from the Music menu on screen.........the BV14 also picked up an Airplay stream to the A9, using the Join button on the remote.......so seems to be working, albeit no control via the apps.......i suspect the BV14 / Horizon will appear in the new B&O app, rather than the Beoremote app, but who knows......
Question....having added the A9 and BS2, i can't seem to add another product....is it limited to 2 linked products at the moment?
Anyway, more interested in stability / and tweaks to the PQ........

Just did a quick check concerning the bass management bug... It's still there... You still have to select the speaker group a second time in order to have the correct speaker group settings...

What does the BeoTool app say? Are they all on the network
Hi. I have got green lights on BeoTool for everything except Software update (failed to check for new software)! Which is a bit strange as it also shows the latest software installed. It shows the same network as the iPhone/iPad is on.
Ok downloaded and install.
At last I can use my Beolink NL/ML converter
2 hours and now up and running
Has two crasches already....
---- Room adaptation is still not applyed after stand-by (I want it off)

One thing with beoremote one is that, if you have apply a memory to lets say MUSIC button, you can not take it away!??
And shall be very interesting to see if the "bluish" is gone...I really hope so

had this occasionally, but not much.....generally been ok since the update.......nice to have join etc, but i'll postpone judgment on stability for a week or two.....

Since the latest updat my situation has gone from bad to worse! Whilst watching Sky Q and pressing the fast forward button to skip the adverts it has crashed no less than three times. It just pops and powered down immediately, no picture, sound and the speakers go off instantly too.
Not a a happy bunny. Need to roll back to previous software version to gain some stability!
yes, had a similar issue.....the remote seems to cause crashes......i had that with previous software as well.......at times causing a crash, though not often, but more often the TV becomes less responsive to some of the remote buttons........recently when watching Sky, when i press Guide, it tries to pull up the TV guide (though i have no aerial attached, and never use the TV function).......switching to another source and back again seems to fix it, but this is happening quite often..........
quite why the remote can trigger off these issues, i dont know......
Oh dear. When you did the last (week 10) update did the remote update too like it did for the week 5 upgrade? Mine didn't and has not since.
My BV14 sometimes comes totally blocked, no respond at all. Unplugged and works again.
Maybe it has something with mulitiroom function!?

Netflix is not supported.....yes i know some of us have it working occasionally, but from all that i am told, it should not work, and isnt supported, so dont expect any fix to it.....
And yes, i also have the second issue in your list....only returns to tv mode from set up by selecting TV from menu, or one of the my buttons if you have it set to that input.....
Did you not receive a Nvidea Shield to provide Netflix @4K? I thought everyone who bought the BV14 received one?
I haven't yet downloaded the update as yet. I'm wondering whether it is worthwhile. Should I wait or just go for it and hope for the best? What is everyone's thoughts?
its certainly no worse, and you get the audio sharing multi room type function.......the TV is not yet visible in any of the apps, though i do believe that isnt far away.....most likely in the new B&O app.....
difficult to answer that question....given that there is functionality yet to arrive / scheduled for later updates.....but there seem to be a few common issues, all detailed on the forums.....B&O seem to be able to add their bits of integration without too many issues (matrix integration was smooth in January, and sharing audio sources last week seems more or less OK)....the bigger issue is that the TV and remote seem to get occasionally confused, and subsequent button pushes can confuse the TV's software, which then triggers off a crash and reboot......
they should really engage a few of us early adopters, get us to help out, partly so they can see the activity logs we can send over.....it strikes me as eminently fixable, but only if they are fully aware of the common issue (s) and get the relevant info out of some users.....
i'd be loathed to send it back, its such a beautiful looking TV, and while there remain issues as described above, its not all bad - early issues i had with sound disappearing seem to have been solved, and the picture quality has definitely improved since the initial release......

If you leave out the audio issues then my set is pretty good at the moment. Picture look good! Remote works without problems; No "no signal" in statusbar; set doesn't turn off on it's own.

You're absolutely correct about that! It should not have been released at all...
Ok som positive reflection instead of all bads...
* Bluish parts in the shadows seems to be fixed! One of my top prio.
* TV seems faster in the menu and start-up
* Picture improvement overall
- message Google Play Movies on our BV as well;
- the list function of the Beoremote does not show the menu options for the selected source when this source is selected via the programmable buttons;
- the picture improved but motion-procession is not 100% yet (but becomes close).

Oh yes.. much the same on my BV14, although I am celebrating two nights of error free viewing! Might be speaking too soon..
