Ok som positive reflection instead of all bads...

* TV seems faster in the menu and start-up
* Picture improvement overall
when it's error free I'm very positive about my setup I love the picture quality and sound, I even love it when it's switched off it's so aesthetic to look at (BV14 Oak, BL18 Oak main, BL8000 rear.
would just love to have confidence in using it and not wait for the next thing to "pop up" or for it to crash out.
Its also a real shame I can no longer connect my 3200 and 3500 to my main system via ML!

Is that the beta or the latest public release?
my guess is that it might be beta, as it was not pushed out publicly, but requested by dealers.....but the final version may not be too different......i believe the next major update (functionality wise) is not until week 24....

not sure replacing the TV for another 14 helps, as software of course is the main issue.....unless you have other hardware issues of course.....
I know but my contrast glass is not ok!
oh my god!

Received feedback from BeoCare concerning the ongoing issues with the Speaker-Groups... after the detailed report with various scenarios I sent over the engineers in Struer were able to replicate the experience I'm having... and confirmed that there is an issue... No timing concerning the resolvement.

It is positive to see that the message has landed finally, so there is hope......

My Horizon was switched for a new one and there are much less stability issues..... It is not perfect yet, but at least I get the idea that the stability issues were more serious in the first badges of Horizons & 14's.

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !
Hello,
after some discussion with B&O HQ my dealer replaced the mainboard of the BV14. Now the software of the TV is much more stable and the main problems are solved. There are still some minor software issues but this was a great step forward

good to hear.......my main recurring issue is that the Guide button on the remote sometimes misbehaves, calling up the TV tuner guide even if Sky is selected (i.e. a cable box)......switching sources and back again sorts it out, but this is a bit of a new one......difficult to separate the issues between B&O issues such as this one, and general Android TV issues, which Sony owners also have experienced seemingly.......

This strengthens my thought that there also have been some hardware issues, as my new Horizon (switched) is far more stable (though not 100% yet) as well.
Remaining issues however are still there.
- List-function does not show the selected source-options via the "my buttons" (appeared after current beta-update);
- Side-effects (like halo's) in moving shots (moving backgrounds / camera sweeps) are stil there. It improved but B&O should be able to make it (nearly) perfect as other cheaper brands can. This has not improved since the last beta-update.
- Android pop ups appear.
- Speaker menu is sometimes slow.
- Subwoofer does not always kick in when a scource is selected. You need to apply the speaker group via the Beoremeote a second time.
- The BV occasionally changes bassmanagement setting on its own.
Any news on when the new Multiroom software will become generally available?
The B&O website still says "Available at the end of March 2017", so I guess it's within the next couple of days?
Ok, but unless they are outright lying, some multiroom functionality should be made available within the next couple of days? Do you have any insight into what this might be? (If indeed anything at all)
In the mean time... I'm getting a beta software which would resolve the speaker group issues I'm having. At first there was no timing but received a mail from BeoCare that, with my permission, they will update my set... Go! :-)
Also... Did a photoshoot of an B&O event last Friday... See if you can spot new(ish) products :-)

Man, your photos are absolutely gorgeous, exellent - a joy to look at
And no, I did not spot anything new(ish).

Please do so! With my regards
Just to be clear... In this event a PhD was explaining what kind of influence music and sound can have on our taste... So 4x 2 snacks prepared by a Michelin Chef were served in combination with garbage sound (you don't need 90€ K speakers for that) and then with well sorted out music.. of just no music at al...
i believe that is referring to the update (limited multiform) that we got a few weeks ago.....remember that was not pushed out, but requested by dealers, so in a way unofficial....my guess is that it "becomes" official by the end of March, by inference.......i have been told that the full multiform won't be delivered until the week 24 update...........dont shoot the messenger, just reporting what i have been told....
I have the limited rolled-out (on request of dealer) W10 update; after the W10 update (QM153E.0.4.0.102 relezase date 2017-03-07 17:03:39) I forwarded a detailed report to BeoCare with regard to the Speaker Groups/bass issue; B&O engineers were able to reproduce the problem and today received an email that they want to push another beta to my set.
The BV14/Horizon platform was a mess when released... but I have a feeling that B&O is doing all it can to iron out the bugs and that they are very aware of the issues their customers are having.

Still having issues with the Remote, since the beta update. For example the remote, yesterday when my wife turned on the TV - the list function of the Beoremote did not show the menu options for the selected source (Sky Q) when the TV was turned on via the programmable buttons.
Hope this will be sorted on the official release!!!🙏
mr_anders_son:I'll think it is the official release...I had beta so can not see any changes from that....
I'm going to wait until I get some feedback first before I update. Things are going quite well for me just now and I don't want to upset anything!
All the best with it.
My Horizon cannot find the update :(
Been waiting patiently since January, so this is immensely frustrating. It's been reinstalled via the menu, plugged directly into the router via cable and default configuration on the router. No dice.
I'm going to run a packet capture on this, but if anyone knows where I can download the update that would be really helpful. I see it's connecting to portal.beo.com, and the packet capture will reveal more, but damn this is annoying.
On the support page it's still the old firmware that's up for grabs.
Finally. I hope for the general release soon.
Got the general release two days ago, but haven't spent much time with it (surprising considering how desperate I was to get it!), but my limited usage seems to be improved.
Though the first thing I saw when it turned on after the update was "Google Play Services has stopped" or something :) No problems since, and Multiroom seems to be working though I have to figure out how to do it the best way - connect the speakers to the TV or the Moment?

Thanks, that is exactly the kind of issues I was vary about. I listen to music more than I watch TV, so I think the right solution for me is to connect the speakers to the Moment, and join the Moment to the Horizon when there's a movie on. But I guess I will not be able to use surround sound then?
