We haven't had anything like this for a while, so it's with great pleasure I can launch a .... COMPETITION !!
STBbrackets have announced that they have joined forces with Lutron Lighting Solutions throughout Europe. This new distribution agreement is based around the Lutron Rania for Bang & Olufsen dimming solution which is designed for use with BeoLink 1000, Beo4, Beo5 and Beo6. If you wanted to know what the LIGHT button is for, now you know!
Rania replaces a standard light switch and gives remote control light dimming using your B&O remote as well as manual control from the switch.
To win one of three Lutron Rania for Bang & Olufsen you simply need to tell us what killer product you’d like to see from STB. Simple as that..
The best three suggestions win one Lutron Rania each. The competition closes one week from today - so that's midnight on 1st September. After that, I'll announce the winners within 72 hours, scouts honour.
Good Luck and get your thinking caps on..
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Okay, I'll kick off with a real suggestion.
An adaptor so you can mount the V1 - 32" on a BeoVision 7 - 32" Motor Floor Stand, or a V1 - 40" on a BeoVision 7 - 40" Motor Floor Stand...
A lot of people would upgrade from their Mk1 and Mk2 BeoVision 7's to a V1 if this was the case I'm sure! You could even sell your BeoLab 7 to part-fund the purchase of the V1 !!!

Bracket to hang Playmaker on the wall. I can't understand why there is no such an option... most wanted thing right now.
Multi purpose bracket for beovision so that Playstation, Sky HD box and Apple TV can be fitted at the back of the TV - all at once!
Beosound 8, Beotime, Beocom 4, Beo 5, Lutron Rania, MacBook 15" (Mid 2015), iPad Pro, iPhone 6S, B&O Play H3, Beolit 12, Form 2, A8 Headphones, B&O Play A1, B&O Essence
How about a "sofa stand" for the bs5/bs5Encore so that it is at the correct height when used from a sofa or a chair (the high stand is too high and the table stand is to low... Without a table) ?
... Or even a stand that is directl fixed to a sofa!

Latarsky. The playmaker was wall mounted in the shop when I went in
I've always thought that the bs900 would be good on say a bv7-32 motorised stand. Maybe with an external ir receiver to controll the stand with the remote (as the bs9000 has no socket for a motorised stand) I would certainly be interested.
Im not sure but it might be possible to take the pole from the bs9000 stand and put it onto the base of a bv7-32 the pole looks like the same size. So this would just leave how it could be controlled?
Bs9000 not bs900 sorry
I think Lee has the best idea, even an adaption for the bv8 and make it possible you can use your beolab 7 aswell because the speaker is a big part of surround sound system.
Lee i think you win!!
The Beo4 remote wall mount is not very well made, is expensive, and looks downright ugly when the remote is not in it. It is also possible to knock the bottom retaining lug off the mount if the Beo4 is dropped into it.
If STB brackets could produce a stainless steel remote holder that was held in place on the wall alongside the Rania switch (or any light switch for that matter), that required no additional wall drilling, and looked attractive when the remote was elsewhere, I would think that a high proportion of B&O owners would buy it and B&O stores would stock it.

I don't think this exists anwywhere but I could be wrong, it is not on the STB website.
Beolab 6000 wall bracket please.
Dan
Dan, it does and it looks very good.

Thanks Corbridge, my other suggestion....
Centre speaker bracket for a single Beolab 4, for BV4’s and BV7's.
Great cost effective alternative to BL7's, same juxtaposition as the BV4 / BL10.
A way of attatching beolab 3s to the side of a beovision 7 or 10 so that the speakers move with the tv.
I would really like to see a wall mount for the Beolab 8000 similar to the one for the Beolab 6000. This would really make them look like they are floating in the air.
Another thing I would like to see is a table stand for the Beolab 4000 where you mount the speakers horizontally, i.e. if you like me use them as centre speakers in a surround setup.
My B&O products: Beosound 9000, Beosound 2300, Beosound Century, Beolab 8000, Beolab 6000, Beolab 4000 x2, Beolab 3500, Beolab 2000, Beolab 10, Beolink Active x2, Beotime, Beo5 x2, Beo4, A9 keyring x2, LC2 dimmer x6 and growing....
A bracket to attatch a 3500 to a bv7-32 or bv7-40 motorised stand
A cornerbracket for speakers..
One piece that fits the corner and different pieces to fit different speakers.. I really need to corner mount some speakers, BL4000 and BL3.
Or a wall/ceiling mout for a tv that can turn/tilt and go up and down... So when you not watch tv it is up in the ceiling so the kids cant run into it.. :)

You mean like the ones B&O has been selling for quite a while now?
IMHO they don't work visually nearly as well as the BL6000 wall brackets. The design of the 8000 simply doesn't want any bulk behind the cone.

Turn the bracket upside down then!

How about a bracket for a Power strip combined with som kind of compartment to hide the cables from the Power Strip. Problem with most power strips is that there is no way to mount them.
I know it has to be adjustable in some way to fit all the different types of power strips (American/British/European/?)

Ok, my mistake, never saw those before. Totally agree that they are far from perfect though, I would rather see brackets that are less bulky and in polished aluminium.
Another thing I would like to see is a wall bracket for an iPod / iPad that encloses the dock in polished aluminum to better match the design of B&O than the white example below.
As the most vocal and demanding Bang & Olufsen users on the planet, is this all we can come up with ?
Come on everyone!
A bracket that lets you mount any speaker as a centre to a BV7 stand.....

We need a horizontal "BAR" with holes to attach different attachments, like 2 tubes or square tubes to place like a BM 4000 or BM 5000 or which ever device that has to be placed horizontally, Also attachment to place a stack system or the devices that can be hung vertically or at 45 degrees. And since we like our music also a possibility to hang a board below the Items if wanted
The Base Bar has to be available in different length like 600,800, 1000 Mm. and diff. colors like Black, white and aluminum. Maybe smaller ones for book shelf speakers
The Base Bar has to have space for cables, enough space to easily get cables in and out, maybe 75 x 40 Mm. The 75 Mm. also to give some stability when attached to a wall,
For cable runs, horizontally or vertically beside the base bar, there has to be cable channels available in the same colors and diff. length. Also constructed to easy placement of cables. like lid of, place cable, lid on.
The horizontal base bar and the attachments has to be as "invisible" as possible when the items are placed on the attachments.
So my suggestion: Base bar and Attachments for all Beo models
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
We have a BV10-32 where the back of the set is visible while you walk by. All available mounting solutions are intended for scenarios where the TV set is placed right in front of a wall, but are pretty ugly if the back is visible.
So a mounting solution for additional components below the easel stand whould be helpfull. It hast to be just a simple plate cut like the original weight. In the attached picture you see a Beomedia1 (yes, not in the original case, I know!) mounted below the stand so that it is not visible from the front.
Cheers, Marcus
I'd also like a better looking stand for the new V1
jldmelb:I'd also like a better looking stand for the new V1
Michael: jldmelb: I'd also like a better looking stand for the new V1 I'd like a stand for the V1 that doesnt raise the height but keeps the screen upright and doesn't tilt,so you can place it on a chest of drawers and watch it in bed.

Maybe even tilt forward ? or do you sit up in bed

elephant:Maybe even tilt forward ? or do you sit up in bed Beo-Ed :-)
Why not an "adapter" for the V1 to the motorized stands that are used for e.g. Beovision 6 and 7.

Okay everyone. I ran this a couple of days longer to see if we had any further posts, but it seems the creativity ran dry.
I've now locked this thread - and will forward the suggestions to Gavin at STB Brackets.
I'll announce the winners later this week.
