Hi all,
I have bought a bv7-40 i cant get it to keep my pentas switched on, even though i have told it they are there? my overture also connected to it is on?? I assume its an option setting somewhere?
Can anyone help>
Thanks Nick
Nick:If this is already set to option 6 after adding the new master will I need to re-option it? Thanks for the help
No.
Raeuber:No, if you add a Beovision via masterlink in another room, this BV has to be set to V.OPT = 6.
Sorry - not quite correct. If your BV is the main TV, the videomaster, set V.OPT to "2", no matter in which room it is installed. V.OPT 6 is a slave mode for link TVs.
Assuming you have a BV7-40 MKII, which Pentas do you have - MK III? Did you set the mode switch to video?
Are the Pentas registered in the BV7 Speaker menu? Do you use fully wired Powerlink cables? As far as I remember, BL Penta need these PL cables.
Stefan
Hi, i had a bv7-32 mk1 before and i wired it back the same now i have bv7-40 my penta's are mk2's, the penta's are set in the speaker menu and 7-4 is selected as the centre.
Hope this helps
Cheers Nick
So your Pentas have no Powerlink. Do you use Speakerlink or Line in?
Are the mode switches set correctly?
If I remember correctly the Pentas sould turn automatically after a certain time when signal disappeared.

Sorry, Steffan, a little bit misunderstanding. Of course:
- BV in mainroom (videomaster): V.OPT = 2
- BV in linkroom: V.OPT = 6
