Please let me know within tomorrow as I need to try and reserve a table! (A table for three is already reserved but we could need a larger one)

I have some disappointing news. As I mentioned to Paolo privately a few weeks ago I have ruptured a disc in my spine and trapped a nerve. This has made it virtually impossible for me to sit for long periods and therefore to travel long distances over the last month or so. Things have been improving slowly but steadily with treatment (and a few beers), and I was hoping to still be able to join you all this weekend. This was only going to be possible by flying from my nearest airport - Manchester, as it is 40 minutes away.
However, the airline I was flying with, Monarch Airlines, have today gone bankrupt! Can you believe it?
Realistically any alternative flights wont work as they would be from an airport at least 4/5 hours drive from home which I'm simply not up to with my dodgy back.
I am truly gutted to be missing the weekend with you all. I hope you all have a wonderful time and most importantly enjoy you beers.
Massive respect to Paolo for organising this.

I do really hope you're going to get well quickly, and who knows, maybe you'll organise the next beer party near you
