Update of the Bang & Olufsen app released

To me, this would totally make up for the forthcoming loss of the Spotify feature.

Played music on two of my Beoplay devices.

The "X app" was active on my iPhone.

When I got a call (Facetime) on my phone, the music volume was turned down (not complete silence) on my devices.

When I ended the call, the music started to play again at earlier volume.

Is this a feature on the "X app"? If so, its nice

Just a heads up.

 

Earlier this week I had my music on my essence mk2 in the kitchen via the X App, I love the new lock screen part.

I then put the essence to standby and went up to bed.

I dock my phone on a speaker which is also a charger, the X app was still on the lockl screen and it started playing very very loud music on the essence to I had to run down stairs and unplug the essence

Not quite the usual BL20 Armageddon... but scary... but a user error... dumb user since I sort of did it twice.

I was playing my iTunes weekend recommendations using Airplay to the Essence at around 50% volume.

As I was nearing the end of the playlist and so I thought I would start browsing the Deezer playlist so I brought up the X player B&O iApp ... instant WHAM the existing Airplay song is screaming at full volume.

I quickly pressed paused and silence reigned.

I foolishly then started iTunes playing again and WHAM ... which was when I noticed that the iTunes/ iPhone volume slider had been ratcheted up to 100%

Presumably the X iApp was adding 50% to the original iTunes 50% when it was brought to the foreground ???

UPDATE

It may be an iOS issue !!!

Just happened when I sent FaceBook audio on airplay to the Essence

I have currently taken to turning the Essence off overnight lol

Killing the app/swiping up would be a workaround.

Mr Anderson please look at my thread about my essence after using the X app.

It keeps doing strange things after I play Tunein and press standby via the app

It keeps turning on at different times after I have used it
