Is anyone using the BT version of the BROne - of course set to ir-mode - with their BV11/V1/Avant2014?
Any advantages or disadvantages over the regular BROne?

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Does the Beoremote one BT operate in a mixed mode, e.g. Audio Bluetooth and Video infrared?
No, not that I know!
You will have to switch every time you change, which is uncool ;-(
However my question is, how it behaves when set up to be only used with ir-based products compared to how the first BROne does.
One difference is that it has 4 MyButtons.

That is indeed VERY uncool and not thought-out. :-( Maybe Bang & Olufsen can sort this out with a software update.I understood your question and I know the visual differences but I can't answer it; sorry.Does the Beoplay Range (A1, A2, A15, A17...) accept the Bluetooth remote, too?
I have both the BT and IR only version of the BRone.
They work exactly in the same manner.
I like the BT more, because the keys are a bit more ergonomical, channel switch and volume control are much better to touch and easier to reach.
You do not have to switch between IR and BT, you just have to choose the product, e.g. Beo4AV, so it is not a great thing to control other devices.
The BRone does not work with M5, A6 or other Beoplay products. Pairing fails, my dealer told me, that a proceeding software update for Beoplay may support the BRone. The essence BT remote works great with M5 and A6.
I could pair the BRone with my smartphone, but i found no useful interaction yet. I supposed to control the Beoapp or Music App, but this did not work.

Ralf, do you have to switch the modes or can you e.g. save one Beo4-IR-product on a "my button" and a Bluetooth product on another "my button" without any configuring/switching?The Beoremote One BT would be a nice remote for the portable High resolution audio players from Sony, Pioneer, Astell & Kern, Teac, Onkyo etc. at home!I've tested an Essence remote with a Sony NWZ-ZX1 and it works fine. If you use those players in a docking station the remote is a must.
You have to change the product you want to control from the remotes menu...........if you chose a BeoVision from the list (11/14/BS4) it switches to IR mode, and it won't talk to the newer TVs, and vice versa..........one advantage of the newer remotes is the 4 myButtons as opposed to 3......when the BT remote is in IR mode, it seems to work in the same way as the regular BR One, for example allowing management of sources that show under TV / MUSIC.....which you can't when using it in BT mode with the newer TVs, where that list management is done on the TV........
i don't see much difference between the ergonomics of either, the newer one marginally better i guess.....but is a 4th button really that important?
