Since your banner says "Dedicated to a lifestyle outside of the office, whether it’s at the beach, by the pool or training at the gym" ... and seeing I don't do any of those activities (I am discounting promenading Wink) does that mean the P2 is not for me? Laughing

No, it means you need to start doing those things. But you're in Australia. Surely you're always in a pair of shorts? The site is supposed to encourage people to get out of the office, get fit, get active and get in a pair of shorts (and, of course, enjoy the P2 at the same time).

I work on many sites, including PC Authority in Australia! We provide their tech reviews.

We do, well at least would like to.  I would only wear shorts if the weather was perfect.

Nice article Moxxey btw.

Ed, I did a search for elephant in shorts, and it came up with some undies that are NSFW :-). haha

Can't wait to listen to the P2 myself.

Good review Moxxey. You say it sits between the A1and A2 is that in terms of how it sounds?

To be fair, I only had a very brief listen, but it sits below the A1, not above it! The A1 has a little more power, as you would expect from a larger portable unit. But it's close - I wouldn't be disappointed with the P2, personally, especially for the size. It's tiny and incredibly portable. More portable than the A1.

It has to be seen to be appreciated (how small it is).

I just had a listen in the Sheffield store and agree with your comments. Sound is good but not in the same league as an A1 in terms of bass, but I wouldn't expect it to be.

But it is about half the size and weight (or so it seemed to me).

The A1 is perfect to put in a small case or hold-all to travel. The P2 could go in a coat pocket, laptop case or satchel easily.

A good addition to the range.

Oh and the configurable controls (shake, tap, swipe etc) are pretty damn cool.

Mine already arrived today (ordered yesterday)! After a 1st listen I can tell it's not as powerful then the A1 and less 360° as well I think. It fills less the space. BUT for it's size it is really very good and goes very loud. Even my test track for bass frequencies (Silent Shout from the Knife) is not uninteresting when played on it (of course you must keep in mind the very small size of the speaker)

The blue color is how I expected it to be : like on the press photos and not to shiny blue (like under the lights in the videos I could see).

Like it very much for what I bought it : a perfect very small travel pocketable speaker.

I'll put the other photos in the 'flash your B&O' section.

Exactly - there are times some people go away for a weekend with just hand luggage (suitcase in the cabin) and the P2 is ideal for this scenario.

Hi,

i got mine on last friday. Nice design, suits every briefcase.

Sound is good in respect of its size. Poor 360 degrees performance, poor bass. I did not expect more bass, so it is ok for me and it is a useful addition to my consisting collection of bluetooth speakers :-)

Lovely usabilitiy (shaking caressing and wiping) It belongs to the hand-charmer family.

It took more that one hour to update the firmware, several disconnection from the beoapp (i am using Android)

I bought it in sand stone and my wife loves it so much that she took it under her control. It is now in her handbag.

Hmm, but she did not ask me how to use it and how to pair it with her smartphone.

Ralf
