Hi!
Just bought a new BeoSound 2. I set it up as discriped through tha bang and olufsen site, using IOS. Everything was working fine but after a a few minutes as I was streaming radio from my phone it stop playing and dissapeared from the network ( beosetup, beomusic or airplay could not find any device). The led light on the speaker remained solid white like normal, but did not response to anything. Eventually had to pull the plug and restart to get it running again.... Same thing happen another 3 times.... any suggestions or should I return it to the shop?
Thanks!
Log into product setup and do the firmware update.

Already did the update on initial setup. Now it says «up to date».
Tried to reset and re install the unit. So far no problem. Hopefully it has been resolved.
Thanks
Yes my next option would be to do factory reset.
Should all be okay now...
Unfortunatelly problem not solved... Any more ideas?
Went back to the dealer today and got a replacement. They also found it very strange... said they would look into it, but claimed that it could be my network....
Newone... so far works perfect!
Hi I also have this problem with my beosound 2 and also with my beoplay A6 - music stops and then starts again (as if there is too little buffer). Sometimes the system just stops and it is impossible to start it again.
Very bad
I love the speakers when they work. unfortunately, I get errors 2-4 times a month.
I have state of the art WIFI (unify) with signal good enough for streaming TV (errors is NOT when I watch TV).
I have the same issue. Over the last week or so I was getting a “there is a glitch” message when I used voice commands. Rebooting the speaker did not help, so yesterday I did a factory reset and am now getting the message that “your device isn't set up yet, to get started download the google home app.” I spoke with a B & O customer support person and he said it’s a Google problem and they are working with Google on a fix. Of course, I have no way of knowing if this is true.
It is true this is a Google problem. There are many threads (non B&O) about this. You can try to create a completely new Google Account and try that way. I have a BS1 with GVA but don’t use the GVA and of course it is working on my device (sadly a wasted feature for me) 🤷🏻♂️
B&O in my life 😊:
I have the exact same problem its so annoying that it's suddenly stopped working. I'd be interested if you hear about a fix.
Unfortunately exacty the same thing in South Africa:
Google Assistant says you have to setup, even though according to Google Home App, it is connected.
I am able to cast to it via Spotify, but is is very buffery!
Missing the ability to play radio via Tune-In. Very frustrating in these time of Lockdown.
