Hi
We have a Beosound 3000, Beovision 7-40 etc.
We have an airport express plugged into the Beosound 3000 Aux port so we can stream music from Apple Music.
We would really like to buy and connect a turntable as well. But we don't know how to connect it as we are already using the Aux port. Can we get a splitter or the like? Or could we plus into the power link sockets on the Beosound 3000 or a socket on the Beovision 7 somehow?
grateful for any help and advice.
Thanks David
B&O Aux Expander here. Has 4 female DIN inputs in back - see last photo. Look for a turntable with a built-in RIAA Phono Preamp. If it doesn't have one you'll have to purchase an external one.
Hi David,
Welcome to Beoworld! An even simpler solution is this 2 way Aux input splitter, which will allow the Airport Express and turntable to share the Aux socket (only one device can be played at once):-

As mentioned above, the best option is to look for a later Beogram that has a built in RIAA pre-amp, otherwise you will need an external pre-amp for the turntable. You can see a full list of which Beogram models need a separate pre-amp here:-
