Hi all
I'm sorry for my absence as of late. First of all, it has been a well-earned and needed summer holiday second, we have been brewing on something new. First some background. When we announced that we would remove BeoMusic we received a lot of negative feedback on the new app, both for missing features, but also on our UX approach in general. In any software team and in any company this creates some stir and cause for reflection on our work so far. We came to realize that we agreed with many of the grievances of our users and if we wanted to change track we should act now. So, we got to work with fresh eyes and with all the complaints given in our feedback channel both politely and angrily. This resulted in an entirely new navigation pattern and a new and Deezerless onboarding experience. We have also put the products we know you love front and center, in other words given them the position they deserve. This is just to mention a few things, there is much more.
We have just put the very first beta of this on TestFlight (in review as of writing, should be out shortly) and would love you to check it out. Bear in mind this is early bits and still rough around the edges.

Mr Andersen, what about the timer. It would be great to have the posibility to wake up on music and to sleep without worying about switching off.

Just a heads up: The beta test review seems to take a long time, this time around. The current beta is still not updated.
@liviu_o: We had to postpone alarms because of the product launches and UX refresh. On the roadmap! Really want this myself since I use an A6 as alarm and it is such a pain to set.

I have created a macro to achieve this (see my thread in the Home Automation forum), but I agree that it would be great to have this function in the app.
Also, is it beyond the realm of possibility to include legacy ML devices other than just the device indicated by the BeoLink Converter? The MLGW and BLGW can identify each ML device as a "node" on the ML network. Or would this require the MLGW/BLGW to identify and control those nodes?

Let's say you use another device to play a playlist.
What you see in your own phone with the beta app is the song that is currently playing.
However when you press the "V" symbol on the top left hand corner, it does not go "back" to the playlist page (and thus you cannot view the playlist or add it to favorites). Instead it goes "back" to the main device page.

Will have some more time on the weekend, but gave it a quick try. Unfortnuately, ML/NL support does not appear to be properly implemented yet:
* When I select the BV via ML/NL and then pick a radio station, it gives me the error message "action not supported by selected product". I am aware that the ML/NL does not have a radio client. However, it worked with the Beomusic app to play radio when selecting the ML/NL and then selecting radio (mapped from A9 radio device) without playing on the A9. So, it should technically be feasible and would be good to have back
* When I select multiroom, my two ML/NLs don't show up in the list
