Are any (or all) parts from a Beogram 1900 (other than, obviously, the chassis and dustcover) useable on a 3400? I'm thinking of the tonearm or any other internal components, mechanical or electronic. Thanks.

They are basically identical. Only difference is that the Beogram 3400 was prepared for the fitting of a
CD-4 decoder.
Tonearm, mechanics etc. are all the same.
There's not a lot of electronics in these decks.

Hi Martin

I recently received the Beogram 3400 from a friend that had it in his garage. I immediately connected and tried it but doesn't spin.

Do you have any suggestion how to fix it or what may be the problem?

The mechanics seem to work good because if i spin it with my hand (probably not very good to do it) the arm moves to the record and settles on it as also it goes back if I press stop button.

Thank you

Gretings
