Liverpoolpete: I purchased a line in cable to connect the iPad direct to the moment. When I play from the Deezer app it shows HQ in the album artwork, not flac as has been reported elsewhere. I haven’t seen any change in the B&O app.

I’ve got a Beosound Moment, and there still isn’t an official update to allow Deezer Hifi (flac) to be played.

The B&O website says that the moment is compatible with Deezer Hifi. Guess we just need the 2.2 software to make this happen, lets hope it is not too long away

Do i need to play music on Deezer on the Bang Olufsen app, Beolink 2 app to play with HIFI quality? Or does it work to play it on the Deezer app, and cast/airplay it to a speaker/system.. ?

I have the 1.15.17 software version an can not make it work.

mbolo01:For now, only the 2.2 beta version can handle Deezer HiFi. When playing hifi, the FLAC word follows the Deezer logo on in the JukeBox interface BS Moment, BL 18, BL 19, A6, M5, A1, H5
It should be easy to confirm if it is playing in higher quality. You should HEAR the difference.
I can't hear the difference on my speakers.
I can't hear the difference between Tidal HiFi and Tidal studio using H6 mk1 and mk2 with a headphone DAC.
So I just started to enjoy actually listening to music again instead of fiddling around with audio equipment and on-paper quality.
Not saying others can't hear the difference.
