The tone wont drop on the record.

Everything is perfect on the table but this issue.

Figured before I started poking around. That someone may have a sure shot remedy to get this deck going?

Thanks!!

Does the tonearm stop and hover over the lead-in groove or just pass over the record and return to park?
Has the tracking force been set correctly?

Hi Martin,

The tonearm does stop, and hover over the lead-in groove. The tracking force is set at 1.5g for the mmc 5 Cartridge.

I have! However, I can’t recall what I did to make it drop. I want to say I made an adjustment to screw of the left of the tonearm.

Sorry I can’t be more help.

I can't locate my manual. Can you be more specific on the screw?

Update...blew the carriage and area out with low pressure air and used the play and pause buttons. Arm now goes down. Need a preamp now to see how it sounds.
