i tunes apple experts

hope you can help, as my wife missed firsepisode of downton abbey, i downloaded on to my laptop from itunes, any way volume at maximum and could only just hear it through the laptop speakers do i have tohave special cable. played a sample music tune  fom i tunes sound ok.

Hi Malcolm,

 

Highlight your film in iTunes library, right click to get info. Fourth setting there will be 'Options'  click on it and you will see a volume slider, set up to maximum and press ok :)

Hi Malcolm,

 

That's awesome!  There's also a setting in preferences in iTunes called Sound Check - that sometimes increases the range too!

There are 3 volume levels that are combined:

- Your computer's volume

- iTunes volume

- iTunes equaliser

Make sure all are at the max. Otherwise ask for a refund, by clicking on "Report a problem" in the invoice you got from apple.
