Hi

There is a mysterious green dot that comes up on the display of a Beosound 3000. It isn't mentioned in the manual and it seems to appear randomly...anyone know its purpose?

Thanks

Ben

Hi.

Timer function On.

Setup>Arrow down>Timer>OFF.

I keep it on because i like having two dots when the Beosound is off, but it's a matter of taste.

Regards.

Sorry, that sequence is for the Ouverture.

Look in the manual on how to disable the timer. Must be around the timer key !

Cheers…

The different types uses different sequences to turn the timer on or off.

I don't remember it by heart, but on some occasions the Mute button sets the timer on or off (when set is in standby).

A friend is using the Beosound and he asked about the dot, I'll pop around there and have a look at the manual and try and clear the timer.

Thanks

On my BC2300 it's cleared by pressing MUTE with your unit in stand-by, so that's looking likely as a fix!

Thanks Guy, that sounds like that would be the solution. Will give it a try!
