Hello all!

I am currently planning a complete remodel of my guest bedroom and going to deck it out with some B&O.  The original plan was to have a Beosound 9000 and a pair of Beolab 4000s hanging on the wall, with the Aux from the BS9000 going to a non B&O TV...  However, I found what seems to be a good deal on a Beovision 8-32 with an adjustable wall mount...  This would be my first B&O TV, so I just wanted to ask some opinions on it, especially with the plan being to link it to the BS9000 and the BL4000s.  Let me know what you think!

Thanks!

-Tucker

PS:  Once the guest room is finished you guys are more than welcome to stop in for a visit!

You will have to get one with a ML module mounted - not all have this.

The sound is pretty good, indeed.

With the BS9000 and the BL4000's it will be fine/even better.

If you get it PUC'ed for an ATV3 box, you should be fine using the HDMI-in - anything else is soso picturewise.

P.S. In Denmark these tv's are almost unsellable - don't pay too much.

Thanks for the info!!  Any easy way to tell if it has a ML Module?  Also what would you consider to be a good price?  There are VERY few for sale in the us, so it is hard to gauge...

the white one is a bit more expensive and a bit more rare.

In Denmark the price is on the private marked between 130-220 dollars. The price also depends on there is a digital box with b&o steering, so it can show digital tv-channels with the beo4 remote.

The ML module you can see on the back with the other plugin - on the right site

And ENJOY - I love this television. :) :) :)  So bad they don't do it in a 2017 updated version with all the new stuff. But it have hdmi, so you can add on almost anything. The sound is very good also.

I don't know any specific item number, that would indicate that it has the ML/system module built-in - especially not for the US marked.

But you can easily see that on the back - it includes extra scart as well.

No idea at all what the price could be in the US - others might know.

Thanks guys!  I really appreciate the help.  I have asked to make sure it has a MasterLink connection.  The price is $300 for the BV, a Beo 4, and the wall mount. Think that is fair?

If you are also getting a beo4 and a stand I would say that sounds fair.

You might also want to configure as a monitor for your guests - I find it very useful as a monitor.

I may have more questions about this if I end up getting it!   My plan is to have a Roku connected and maybe a game console.

Tucker:

However, I found what seems to be a good deal on a Beovision 8-32 with an adjustable wall mount...

I used to like my 8-32 (which I owned before the 10-32 and was then replaced with a 11-40) in the kitchen.

Only snag is, I found it hard to clean as it was like cleaning a basic LCD panel. No glass, no protection, nothing.

Well, I got the BV, Beo 4, and wall mount for $275.  I think that I should be good at that price.  I am looking forward to its arrival and giving it a test run! Smile

Indeed I would buy a Beo8-40 with a Beosystem4-like inside (like the Beoplay V1) in a heartbeat.

Well the BV8-32 came today!  Unfortunately it does not have the MasterLink connection that I thought it had.  It says "MasterLink" on the back, but there is no plug.  Is this something I could add easily?  Also the "soft touch" finish is a bit beat up.  Has anyone attempted to remove the coating or repaint it?
