It seems to me to be ok....

....as long as you have given the sub the role of a R/L sub in the settings on the tv.

I also assume, that your other speakers are set up correctly/given the right Speaker Roles etc.

The Avant basicly knows how to bas management on its own - as long as you don’t ‘mess up’ with the Advanced Settings.

However, you should read or re-read this article:

http://www.tonmeister.ca/wordpress/2014/01/10/bo-tech-subwoofer-tweaking-for-beginners/

for more details.

Go right to the chapter called How to do it (Finally!) for inspiration on further tweaking

It went - for reasons unknown - into moderation ;-)

You can now just play with the phase switch to hear what position is the best (there is no « good » setting for this switch, it really depends of your setup and speaker placement. Sometimes the sub can « cancel » the lower end of your main speakers or add too much on the crossover zone. This switch is there to prevent this.

Mine don’t always come back

Sometimes they are lost ...

If it’s short why not repost now ?

I have given the role of the sub as SUBWOOFER - i dont see any R/L in the TV just on the 19 itself.

Sorry, that was what I meant...

....in opposition to R or L, which is used if you have 2 subs.
