Hi! I recently bought a Beosystem 5500 and 2 Beovox S45-2 speakers, which I am really pleased with. I would however like to add more bass to the sound range. So my question is if I will accomplish that by adding a Beovox Cona to the system and is it at all possible to make it all work together?
I would really appreciate to have some input regarding this.
No problem at all getting it to work - you’ll just need the proper cabling - but I doubt a Cona would add much to it in practice. It was designed to augment the CX50/CX100 which do not produce that much bass by themselves.

Thanks for the input, so there will not be any approvement at all in your opinion to add the Cona? I will probably have to look at another solution regarding speakers.
Hi Nettan
The Beovox 45-2 is a three way Uniphase loudspeaker with three separate units tweeter, bass and a special phase link unit meaning three loudspeakers. You can check this by taking of the front.
BeoVox Cona was designed bo BeoVox C30-C40 and C75 and BeoVox Cona has a frequency range of 40-195 HZ. BeoVox S45-2 has a better performance. Technical Data BeoVox S 45-2 see below.
