There are some discussions about the batteries for Beolink 7000.

I have still some NiCad batteries left, but in time I am running out of these batteries. Buying new ones is not possible anymore.

What is the alternative? I red about NimH batteries on this forum and I seems not a got alternative.

Does anyone has a solution for this problem?

Maby someone has build new electronics into the charger for NimH batteries?

Well it is a nightmare when my Beolink 7000 will end up in the museum when running out of batteries.

I bought some batteries on ebay from beovienna and they seem to work fine, Someone I know bought the individual batteries and soldered them together and that also worked.

I am trying to get batteries for my Beo5 without success at the moment, any ideas?

Regards

Paul

You need two 4/5 AA 1.2 V akkus. They are usually made for shavers. Try the search function here on Beoworld.

I just installed thes ones in may Beo5 and my Beo6:

For the Beolink 7000, here in the states, buying new NiCd AA batteries is still possible.  Digi-Key, for example, even have pre-soldered AA 5-packs, which is what I used last time I re-did mine.  DK part number SY115-F051-ND.  BeoVienna's look slightly different, with the final solder tabs angled-in which probably makes them exact-fit.  (I was soldering anyway and probably attached a wire to the end-tabs.  That will make it easier next time because I can just cut it and don't have to re-solder on the original board.) USD15 instead of EU36.  No knock against BeoVienna though; I bought his Lithium memory-backup battery for the BeoLink 7000, which is simply a CR2032 -- because the placement is tight, and in that case I didn't want to worry about whether the solder-tabs from the supply house were right.
