Rich: As noted above, my latest piece did arrive yesterday: Beocord 8004. There are a few small gouges to the metal, 3 or so LCDs are out, and one green segment of the right channel level meter is out. But new belts and a cleaning from my service man and here she is.

Got hold of a set of Beolab 6000 for practically nothing, but with the usual foam rot. Who is the best supplier to get replacement rubber rings from? Happy to tackle the repair myself so will buy anywhere in the world, that delivers to Aust.
Thanks, Rob
Here it is... To be "continued"...
Too long to list....
bayerische:Here it is..

These are indeed some of the nicest designed stuff from B&O.
I'm thinking of moving my BS9000, and make room for this beauty in the living room.
bayerische: Here it is... To be "continued"...
Wonderful. Those were the days.
Vähintään yhdeksänkymmentä prosenttia suomalainen!
Courtesy of a fellow Beoworlder, and a friend of mine I got the third piece to my set today!

Beautiful! But you need a bigger table!
I don't know where to put them yet...
But I'm thinking that these should get "center stage" instead of the BS9000.

Happy to see the lonely Beocord finally joining the other units at a good home

Beautiful!
this is what the B&O today missed, simplicity and elegance. And of course the state of the art technology...
Vintage Bang & Olufsen
And Imust say: beautiful table too...

Here the harvest from TX, I made a 2400 Km trip for this, arriving in McAllen the temp was some 32°C in the shade, the items was stored in a garage with more than 40°C. I went in there early in the morning to unpack the boxes, check the views and fast into the air conditioned house, wrapped it all in some 8 M2 felt that I use for my daily work, Packed it all into suitcases surrounded with our garments, The last 2.5 hour drive was done in the dark and rain, didnt see a couple of potholes and some damaged stretches, some of these could get the best man to loose his dentures if not already bitten hard into.
Addicted or heavily infected with the BeoVirus, not at all, anybody would do this, threads to follow on all of it
Beocord 2000 RtoR, CX100s, Beocord 5000 from Rich, Beogram RX and odds and pieces
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

My latest. Vintageknob says:
The CR-1000 is almost B&O-like, but vertical - very interesting. And much better than B&O :)
What do you think?
blah-blah and photographs as needed
Orava:What do you think?
Very nice!
The description really sounds like something better than B&O (or it has more in it), better will show when it is connected and tested, maybe compared with a BM 4400, more or less same age. will be following your thread about it

Ha-ha. Maybe in summerholliday I have time enough I could compare it to my BM4000. Well, at first I think lookwise similarity... Is there? Maybe some, if sliders had plexwindows ect... Definetly it has to have more IN it, as it weights 19kgs!
Orava: What do you think?
The push-down buttons looks like something from a Beomaster 3000/4400 -but besides that, there's not much similarity with any B&O product...
Got myself a Beocenter 1800 for free last week, complete with a perfect MMC 3000 and a (I think it is never used) MMC 20 E-B
Thinking about putting it on Ebay...
The brush and the ?? left unit is missing.

Finally I found a decent Beolab 8000!
Those has never been particularly common in Sweden but now there was a system for sale, only a month after the previous as I where cheated on.
This system is complete: Beomaster 8000 that seems to work properly (still so far), Beogram 8000 (inoperable, unknown error but with a working MMC20CL), Beocord 8002 (that most for sure needs new belts), two Beovox MS 150 (that will need new foam edges and a refurbish of the filters), Beolab terminal, the cabinet SC 80 and a box with cables, folders, receipts and all possible things that I neither has control on or has the energy to count up.
On Monday, I go to Stockholm and retrieves all things. Hope all the gear can be ioaded in my SAAB.

Congrats, the SC80 will fit on the roof, its summer, nothing will happen to it.
Great find!
Some good advice.
If you can't fix it yourself do not drive straight home but to Copenhagen and visit Dillen.
It will save you some time and it will be working right now that you found it complete and all.
In late 2007 I found my 3 main units for white Beosystem 6000 only to come home with the very heavy box to find that it looked great but hardly working at all. I should have gone straight to Martin. He ended up fixing it anyway.

Nothing will happend, except for the Low Bridges In Strängnäs.....
Just kidding, the SC will travel on the roof. I will take some pictures of the equipage!

Thank you for your advices! Martin has rebuilt the system board in my Beomaster 6000 and he´s the only one I buy critical spare parts from. From day 1 he was the one I had in mind for repair this Beogram. If (read: when) the Beomaster stop working I will be glad if he can help me with that too.
For the moment I have no plans for a travel to Denmark but when I finally get my vacation - sometime in September perhaps - a car trip southwards is a strong candidate… I have to speak with Martin first, of course…
ooooouu, what a nice finding!
I wish I would live nearer to Denmark or generally to Scandinavia. There are so beutiful beos on the Danish sites for not much money...
I considered seriously to rent a big van and make a week-or-two-trip to Denmark, visit all the people from Beoworld, visit all the seller from interenet and get the van full with beos! It is a beutiful country, I would have lot of fun, for sure!

There are lots of fine stuff and, until previous, untouchable gear that people are formerly giving away nowadays. Maybe we are (I am) the stupid ones that pay for things that other dont more want and maybe all this nice looking and nice sounding systems will be worth nothing in a close future - or the next generation - but I dont care, because I love collecting B & O-things.
tamtapir:m Hope all the gear can be ioaded in my SAAB. I managed to get a Beolab 8000 system into the back of my 9000 without too much trouble! Enjoy!Cleve This is no longer an addiction. It´s a freak show. http://tinyurl.com/qj9cjsf
