I make adapters, 2 pin DIN to naked wire, naked wire connected to the TC 616, from amps speaker out, and connect my normal speaker 2 pin Din to the adapters. If you have 2 TC 616, you can connect 6 amps to 1 TC and 6 speaker to the other, and then use them as you like, check the connections  on the link. The right side drawing shows the 2 TCs connected.

There are no 5 pin DIN being used, just speaker plugs and wires plugged in to the TC

Wow, that looks pretty neat, do you change the plugs or use adapters, what about the 5 pin connectors from the amps

I like the look of Oravas better, Rich also made a nice one similar, but I never found nice looking switches

Just bought these, will fit nicely to my Master de Luxe 608 Present Stereo, still standing by Martin, will pick up in May (thank you Martin). The Type M speakers will be shipped to TX, will go there within 2-3 weeks.

As I know how much you all appreciate the BG CD50, I bought one more, just for the fun of it.

very nice speakers... I like them... They are not the best sounding (the Type S of the same era and same looking but bigger, are much better) but I think you do not need them for your Master de Luxe 608. This old radio has his own speakers... Of course you can use them with this beautiful radio but IMO they do not match the walnut case of it... Probably you will need new acquisition for these speakers. Maybe that was subconscious purchase ;-)

For example the matching High Fidelity stereo Amplifier 608 in teakwood or the Grand prix Moderne 610 in teakwood could be your next acquisition and I am already lucky to see your next pictures... :-)))

Omaster you are right about everything,But over here I have to do with what I can get. A pair Type M speakers will probably never come again on the US bay, Grand Prix Moderne or Amp 608 I will have to find in Europe, with the transportation problems that gives me. So if I find anything over here from these years, I buy it, if it is affordable.

Regarding the last post by Soren. Yes it is a fact that in North America we don't see some of the B&O equipment that you might find in Europe. The Beogram 4000 being an example. In my early days of being on the forum I saw posts about how the Beogram 4000 was the Beogram to get. I found one online for a really small sum of money but non-functioning shortly after. I got it and was not able to repair it myself and being a perfectionist and it not being in great cosmetic condition traded it away for a 4002. I have not seen another 4000 for sale since and it has been 3-4 years ago. I would like to get a Beomaster 1200 but you don't see them here often either.

I bought my BG 1202 in DK, Made a mechanical conversion to 60 Hz, the conversion is quite simple (smaller belt drive wheel) and I can help you with it, if wanted.

Happily back from TX, here the "new" additions

BM 3300, turned on it works, all lights on, but volume, treble and balance, does not work, volume stays on "30" but the scale lights goes up and down when pressing up and down buttons. A light burned electronics smell comes out.

Type M speakers, one is severe damaged in one corner, the fabric on both looks like new.

BG CD50, opens tray, closes tray, but do not recognize disc, (yes the disc is inserted upside down)

BG RX, not tested, but looks good, cartridge broken, bought this for parts, but I think the other one will be parts.

A BG 1800 tonearm, very good shape, bought it just because it was cheap.

Manuals, bought a packet with these, but forgot that I already bought the BM 3300 manual, so they will be up for sale to cost price in private sales

There are 2 pcs. of original Penta manuals

And to keep my B&O collection warm in winter, I got a sh1tload of parts for my solar hot water and space heating system.

Of course I will follow up with threads, when my solar system is finished

Looks good Søren. Could be nice to have a CD50 for my prototype BeoMaster 5000 (4000). I already have a BeoGram 5000, so I think that could be a nice little setup. Only thing is, that they would then be without wooden trim on the sides, but I could always ask Struer Museum if they will let go of their BG5000! Laughing

Very nice Bo! You are definitely not running out of C40/CX50s and things to do any time soon! Smile

I have the prototype Beocord 5000 with palisander sides - plus a spare cover, also for a Beocord if I remember correctly.
We could soon put a complete Beosystem together. Laughing

Hi Dennis,

I see you have got the Beosystem 4500 leaflet. Surprise  I have been looking for one for a long time with no success.  Crying

I am not sure it is the exact version I am desperately looking for, but may I kindly ask if you could provide me with a scanned copy or if I could purchase the original from you?

Many thanks in advance!  Big Smile

I'll try to scan it once I have a little spare time. All of the magazines are on Danish though, so I only think a minority of the BeoWorld members will be able to understand it.

If you can get anything out of the pictures, Hamacbleu, then I'll scan the BeoGram 8000 ad as well. Wink

Thanks Dennis! I'm just curious about it's content, the way the leaflet opens and how it is designed... If it can be scanned easily, then I would be really grateful! ... That's my favorite deck

Thanks!

My latest addiction!

BeoSystem 4500

BeoVox 4500

BeoVox CX 100

BeoLink 1000

Wall brackets etc.

The BS4500 will replace my BS3500 (The first B&O system I bought about 7 years ago!) once the glass has been reattached. And I think I've found a BG4500 to replace the BG3500, so the system should be up and running soon with my BL4500's - see a pattern? Big Smile

@js

I've sent you an email regarding the BS4500 brochure. Smile

My latest find. Beocord 1100 still working 100% only faded a little on top. And 1 original cable for connecting Beocord to Beomaster 6000/8000. Price in total 12$.

The BeoSystem 4500 is now complete; just got home with a BeoGram 4500! The BeoSound 3000 (With wall bracket!) was part of the deal, so I'll have to find space for that one as well. Big Smile I haven't tested it yet, but the BS3000 should have some problems reading CDs and the BG4500 needs a new belt and a pickup, but it should work otherwise. Maybe I'll replace my BC2300 with the BS3000, but we'll see.

You're welcome! And thank you as well! I'm done with the glass panels for the BeoGram CD and the BeoCord. I expect to finish the one for the BeoMaster later today, so it will go on the wall very soon.

I actually got the BS3000 sorted out as well, and it took me less than an hour! The fault was soon clear to me after connecting it to the mains. The doors would open and then refuse to close again while the motor for the doors would start running with the doors open every time the sensor detected my hand as if it hadn't detected, that the doors were already open. After a bit of playing around I decided to open the "bonnet". First thing to check was the switch that should detect when the doors are opened and closed, and it didn't take long before I saw, that the switch slipped on the plastic gear making the BeoSound think, that the doors were still closed, when they were actually open (Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture for future reference). After bending it a little, it stopped slipping and was working again! Time will show, if it is a durable fix, but for now it will do!

And yes, BeoWorld is one of the best places on the internet!
