Hi all
I have a pair of C30 loudspeakers. The woofers appear to have surrounds that are quite different to the usual foam surrounds of other Beovox woofers. They feel and look like rubber and there is no deterioration at all in the material. Does anyone know if these drivers were fitted with rubber surrounds at any stage in their production life?
I've enclosed a photo.
Thanks!
The woofer in the photo looks perfectly original for this Beovox model.Martin
Thanks Martin
Do you know what this surround would be made from?
It looks and feels exactly like rubber and nothing like the foam used in other Beovox models.
I agree with Martin, it looks original to me. The C75 uses the same woofer.
I think the surrounds are rubber rather than foam.
Ben
I can't say what the surround material is.I never had many problems with it and never worried much about it.

Thanks Ben & Martin
Hi machinage
If you have problems with the surrounds in your Beovox C30, then try to read this webpage from a danish dealer. I'll think you can use Google for translation.
Kind regards
