On my Beovision 11 I want to control my Playstation 4 or 3 via my beo4 becouse it supports Spotify. The puc protocol say something about a pdd-stearing. What are the experiecenies in here for this?
Maybe it is this one: https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Receiver-Logitech-Harmony-Control-4/dp/B01K3VMBM0
My local dealer recommended a Nyko Bluwave remote and just using it for the USB dongle that comes with it. I will be implementing this at some point because I use my PS4 for Blu-rays and DVDs.
I suppose it is THIS unit. Haven't bought it yet - on my to do list also.
Beo4 'til I die!
Thank you. Other users that got experiences? Especially around the ps4 - that is a more quiet machine
For Playstation 3 you can use a RE-BL infrared to Bluetooth converter:http://www.re-bl.com/
Instructions: http://www.re-bl.com/default.asp?show=supportdetail&ProductID=1&SupportID=32
For Playstation 4 you can use USB FLIRC:https://flirc.tv/flirc-usb
Instructions: https://support.flirc.tv/hc/en-us/articles/203167509-Setting-up-Flirc-with-PS4
But I don't know if and which PUC can be used to ensure PS4 control through the Beovision. Maybe this workaround (except for the Beo 6 part) will help you:

is then this one: https://flirc.tv/flirc-usb and a puc cable?
For PS3 and the RE-BL converter you'll need the 2nd entry "wb electronics..."
PS4: I don't know as I don't have one.
Thank you TWG. Any other in this forum who uses puc-stering of a Playstation 4?
