One of the features I really like with Deezer is their "flow" concept.  Is there some way (aside from bluetooth) to play "flow" from my Eclipse or Essence?  That is, for whatever reason, I cannot get the Deezer app to "Chromecast" (I get no "Chromecast" icon, and have dug through various support forums about how to fix, but no success).  Meanwhile, Essence and Eclipse have Deezer "built-in", but the Beo app doesn't seem to support "flow" (that I can see).

Anyone have Deezer flow working with their B&O device?

Thanks,

Stan

Hi Stan

It seems the flows are only available from the Deezer app...

I just tried and was able to cast one flow from the Deezer app to my M3.

Are you sure your Eclipse and your Essence have GoogleCast enabled?

If not, you may add a cheap ChromeCast Audio dongle...

Hi

I also tried to cast Deezer to the Essence Mk II.

Deezer indicates that is is casting to Essence. The Essence stopped playing iTunes. The B&O app indicates that is is playing from Google Cast. However, it is NOT playing.

Furthermore I fully agree with the OP that it would be great to have the Deezer Flow capabilities available in the B&O app

Regards

That's another software bug I guess. Getting something similar for months now ... you may have a look for "Critical Events" in B&O app to figure that out.

Here's what I am getting with my BS2 (Chromecast shows connection, but does NOT play, NO sound.

I even didn't get an answer from Beocare whether or not this issue will be fixed.

After powering off and reconnecting it works.

I observed this behavior too, each time the B&O x is used by an app and you try to play something from another app.

If you want it to work, you’ve got to stop the first casting first, and then you can play what you want.

Personally, I use the stop button on the top left corner before trying to play something else, each time.

I’ve found that Airplay is the best way to go multi room at the moment if you need to play through your phone (which you have to to use Flow annoyingly). Chrome cast seems to take ages to connect and then doesn’t work great across multiple speakers when they join.
