Hello all,
I am a bit lost with all this RMS, IEC, etc ways of rating power output of speakers. I went through different sites, I read all the literature, I understood how measurements are made but I can not find an answer to a simple question.
Is it safe to power a pair of Beovox S80.2 by a Beomaster 6500?
Thank you for your answers!
Hello Tessos,
don't think too much about it. It will work without any problems :)
regards Chris
I have used S80.2 with Beomaster 6500 and it works great. They only reason for change was I also had S120 but the difference is hardly noticeable overall.
Keep the volume at a level where there is no distortion and you'll be fine with practically any combinationof Beomaster and Beovox, you can think of.

Thank you all for you help!!!
As far as I remember, the Beovox s80 were the recommended speakers for the beomaster 5000.
It should work without a problem :)

If they sound dull, get new capacitors for the cross over. My dealer gave me a pair of these for nothing some years ago! Nice speakers!
