Is it possible to connect a 6500 to a master control link 82 2041 and what remote will I need.

Plan to use a 6500 as an amp for a pair of penta speakers, Ipod, and non b&o tv, got most of it sorted but want to be able to control the 6500 by remote eye, that is not in the same room as the equipment.

I have done this with a simple MCL transceiver (type 2046 and 2047 with IR-eye). Do not know if MCL 82 should work.

Edit: even with MCL2AV you can connect external sources in your linkroom.

First try yo find a MCL2A or a MCL2AV.

Check the Beotech site for 6500 versus ML / MCL compatibility:

sadly I only have 5000s which I no longer use but keep because I have an emotional attachment to their design aesthetics !

my current BeoSound/Master/System is the BS4 which is powered on but rarely used since now days I tend to listen via music the "BeoVisions" (I am categorising the A3/iPad as my third "BV" Big Smile)).
