Hello

I'm looking for a beovox cona, and it is, of course, used.

I was wondering what i should be looking for when buying it?

I have the cx100 and I know that the membrane will break with time and I was wondering if there is a similar weakness with the Cona?

I think the cons has rubber membrane. At least there was no issue with the one I had before.

Is it easy to check though?

Use a flashlight (app). That might help. On the Beoworld product pages you see a shot of the bottom as well. Not easy to check the condition of the membrane visually.

Okay, I will have to open it then?

Can I here if it's broken?

From what I can tell, the loudspeaker driver is quite clearly visible under the grille at the bottom (see an example). It should not be difficult to visually inspect the surrounds.
