Unfortuantely, my local B&O dealer had absolutely no interest in repairing our Beo5 remote when it was damaged, so i ended up selling it for spares. Broke my heart - I loved it!
Consequently, I wouldn't hold out much hope for any future support for the Beo6 either.
If a Beo4 works, then the Beo6 should work. Otherwise, most of the "new stuff" uses BlueTooth and the Beo6 does not so there's not much you can do.
jowus:Stan, it doesn’t have to be Bluetooth, all got to do is provide software to update to the new Systems! I mean, why would do such a Beautiful thing and let it sit for nothing? C’mon now B&O!
I agree that both the 5 and 6 are iconic products and if they were still supported by B&O they would be my favourite choice of remotes. It is rather baffling that B&O give up so easily on lovely products they have created. So much for longevity. Simon.
B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.
