Unfortuantely, my local B&O dealer had absolutely no interest in repairing our Beo5 remote when it was damaged, so i ended up selling it for spares. Broke my heart - I loved it!

Consequently, I wouldn't hold out much hope for any future support for the Beo6 either.

If a Beo4 works, then the Beo6 should work.  Otherwise, most of the "new stuff" uses BlueTooth and the Beo6 does not so there's not much you can do.

Stan, it doesn’t have to be Bluetooth, all got to do is provide software to update to the new Systems! I mean, why would do such a Beautiful thing and let it sit for nothing? C’mon now B&O!

Looks nice but an ergonomic and software disaster.

Just fill the base of Beo5/6 with lead and it will then, eventually, have a use....

...as a paperweight.

I agree that both the 5 and 6 are iconic products and if they were still supported by B&O they would be my favourite choice of remotes. It is rather baffling that B&O give up so easily on lovely products they have created. So much for longevity. Simon.

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.
