Hello,
Just got a pair of Beolab3 speakers - should I have any issues connecting them to a Yamaha AV Receiver RX-V2700? My last receiver didn't have the appropriate capabilities. I have a turntable that I'm hoping to utilize.
Regards,
Simon
If your receiver have variable line out, then you won't have any problems.
On the web I just saw a picture of the back plate of your receiver.
You have some connectors called PRE OUT. You should use them to connect to your BL3 and be happy!

Hi smkaps,
Yes, you can use Beolab 3 speakers with this receiver as it has variable RCA pre-out sockets fitted. There is no need to use a voltage trigger with these speakers (although this is an option if you wish to force the speakers to stay on), as these these speakers have a Line mode to allow them to turn on automatically when the music plays. You just need one of these cables for each pair of speakers to be connected to the receiver:-

Please set both speakers to "Line" via the small switch at the back.
Kind regards, Steve.
