According to Willie in the latest Mikipedi video and to the comments of Christian Klit there, the BROne can now be paired with the BeoSound Core.
Makes a lot of sense - and was (at least from me) expected.
Looking forward to see the same with the other non-ir products 😉
Anyone already made the Core-update and tried controlling the Core with the BROne this way?

I guess Christian (Klit) could be a good starting point for rhat - after all he will have to teach the dealers howto.
I eead that too - and of course it works that way.
Willie showed something - because of the bt-twoway connection, you can see your radio programmes and start one directly - and such things.
It would be nice to have some photos.....makes it easier for people to understand.the benefits.

Mikipidia:Did you get your core to the latest SW version? Should pair just like an essence remote, so make sure the core is in pairing mode too
Ive tried to update to a newer version than 1.2.22543.7625124 but cant seem to find any newer than that. I have the Core connected to the BeoSound Shape.
Got it working! Had to do a factory reset.
Queetions. Now it just says “null” on my Beoremote. Can I change that?Couldnt get My Button options to work under the app. Anyone had any luck?

w5bno123:We posted this to our Instagram page last week. We have our BeoSound Shapes paired and can adjust from Band on the Wall to Stereo. It controls beautifully and seamlessly.
And how about the Edge - it is built on the latest HW platform as well.

w5bno123:Our Edge is stuck in a warehouse in Holland at the moment. Will update you once it’s arrived safely
New update. Got the Beoremote to work after factory reset and had to rename the Beosound Shape to its default name or else the remote will show "null". Still haven't got "My buttons" to work.

Razlaw:Sorry for another question. Are there two versions of the BeoRemote 1 available at this time? Specifically one version with Netflix and Amazon buttons and another version without those buttons?
Razlaw: Would it be correct that the Horizon version does not have the Amazon and Netflix buttons so it would have more shortcut buttons?
To my knowledge there are three versions of Beoremote One:
Livingroom: BL3, BL11, BV11-46 Kitchen: Beosound 1 GVA, Beocom 2 Bathroom: M3 Homeoffice: M3, Beocom 2 Library: Beosound Emerge, Beocom 6000 Bedroom: M5, Essence remote Travel: Beoplay E8 2.0, Beoplay EQ, Beoplay Earset

Version 2 and 3 are basicly the same (apart from the addition of the N and A buttons and the changed layout in that area).
N.B. There might be/have been different sw versions for each of these two along the way - interesting theme, by the way!
Version 1 (the one with the 3 MyButtons) can not be used with a BT-based product.
Personally I’d go for a version 2.
I, too prefer the BT version. The placement of the LIST button is better.
Also, the BT version has a space in the case to stick the tiny disc of metal for better magnetic attachment to the wall holder.
The cases are interchangeable. I was able to put a rose-gold case on the BT version - which was not available when the rose-gold edition was sold.
FYI, a BeoLink 1000 wall holder can also hold a BeoRemote One.
w5bno123:Firstly it’s a lot more reliable than the Essence remote Bizarrely we have had two separate incidents where clients want a physical remote instead of relying on an app; for example their iPhone might be on charge in another room upstairs so they can continue to pick up a remote and select radio. Another client said when he has guests and he’s not present they can use the radio easily as they wouldn’t have the app on their devices. I think it’s slightly more polite to use a remote instead of a phone when you have friends over, every time someone picks up a phone it’s like they’re not interested in what’s going on around them. Just some of my thoughts for now.
No news about "My buttons"?
