Hi  Mikipidia

I can't see any LG 55" Signature OLED TV R variations yet.

Today a price has come. LG 65" scroll TV for about 55,000 Euro. Erm..

@ SandyB

As we can read on my link, approximately DDK 100,000 was the price they expected, and I paid that
in the past for BV 7 with it all, so I was ready to pay again. However, I understand LG. LG 65 "Signature
OLED TV R is a brand new console, so of course they will spin gold on it at first, and there is probably
also someone there will pay. I wait two to- three years, so Signature R will also come in 55". Smile

I thought it would be between 15-20k euro, so I'm a bit shocked by the article saying 55k.

I also find it hard to believe really.

I mean, at 55k the rolling mechanism would have to be made by Rolex in rose gold!

A cool technology demonstrator, but the actual design and implementation is a complete and utter disaster. Crying

I wouldn't go that far, but yes, once you move beyond the coolness of a rolling screen, the rest is a bit questionable or clumsy.

The box looks bulky, and it can't really be used in a 5.1 setup unless you want to place another center speaker in front of it.

Peter Pan:

BEOVOX141 - You have to elaborate on that.

Bulky, boxy, impracticall, pointless, hideous and ridiculously expensive. That should cover it.

For that kind of money, you could properly get a professional grade 8k projector, that would fit into the decor a lot easier.

You're wasting your time, though I agree.

He's obsessed with something that will never come in his preferred size, can't be used sensibly in a 5.1 setup, and if the article is correct will be the price of 5 BVs.

A matter of taste, I guess.

Some will like it, few will afford it and have the space for it, too.

Those who buy into this, probably will have a Home Cinema too....if they want to.

Has very little with a Beo-reality to do IMO.

If it is about buying B&O or LG Signature R, it is not a problem for those who have enough money.

I have no interest in the subject

I am puzzled by your ongoing obsession, all the more now that your information is that it’s 55 grand

And as I’ve said before, it’s like watching a car crash. Morbid fascination, not for good reasons

And I have an interest in the topic - LG's 2019 OLED TV, and the electronics that comes with it.

In the danish vesion of the story about Peter Pan Never Land is called Ønskeøen....the Wish-for-Island’.

Now you know how Peter became his avatar name.

I have lots of wishes.....I chose not to carpet bomb forums with them, especially when they make no sense financially.....

But self awareness is not strong with this one, so I'll leave him to continue his odyssey for a 55 inch rollable that isn't happening as most understand.

yep, for those wanting 77 inch screens (or close), OLED is a tough choice at 14/15 grand.

As we will find out this week from B&O....

you'd have thought the 55k price tag was the sense inducing WMD to break this cycle.....apparently not though.....

not that I believe the 55k price tag, but the point remains even at half the price.....
