hi
in the same room I have a beosound 9000, Beovision 10-40 with 6000 speakers attached wired via Beolink cable.
both now switch on off with beo4 remote and tv works and turns on speakers. But I can’t make beosound turn them on. Cd spins up but speaker light remain at red.
Tried loads of combinations but I’m not sure which to change that would cause this

BV10 i V.Opt 2 - BS9000 i A.Option 0....forudsat at der ikke er højtalere på 9000’eren.
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
Oh, sorry - the added sentence means: assumed that there are no speakers connected to the 9000.
Correct
BS9000, A-OPT 0
TV - V-OPT 2
Turn them both off at the mains, leave them for a few minutes - then power up the TV first, then the 9000.

Ill give it a try as I’ve never turned them off just standby
Cable worked with last tv so I’ve ruled it out for now
question - what sound settings do you use for video and audio? I can’t seem to get tv speaker and 6000 to both work together
Default is: speaker 3 when sound from tv itself/video - two for what is coming from the BS 9000/audio ( = the external 6000’s alone).
Have a look in the settings/tv, if that should have been changed.
Have you tried manually (via the remote) to choose these - e,g. choose speaker 2, when the 9000 is playing.
Tried this to no effect bar remote no longer works on 9000. Tv seems fine
Thanks for that- as for selecting speakers I’ve never done that before and it just worked with old tv. So I tried LIST >speaker>2 and nothing happens speakerlights stay red. Tried 1 too for the hell of it !
In the mentioned option settings - does the BS9000 start, when you press CD on the remote, when starting from standby?
Not since I tried the reset of a and v codes and reboot as per above - I did have that working before
