There has been a new Sky+HD set of codes released for the PUC list in your TV. I can't remember the exact differences but your new box would ideally be used with the latest B&O PUC software.

hi guys thanks for your replies technician downloaded all updates doing twice on go rapidly still defaults to planner.

had reply from denmark sky tv box amstrad drx890-r not in puc list. as this is standard issue for sky+hd in the uk would have thought it would have been added already. have to ask uk or any dealer to request it be listed. thought the uk national office would have a lot of requests for this to be done

oh well keep chasing

denmark states not  listed  dealers need to ask for it to be  listed then can be added by denmark and downloaded,

seems a funny way round

Malcolm, get them to put "Thompson SkyHD Mk2" in the PUC. That works fine with the 890/895.

Hi Malcolm, which remote are you using? If its a Beo4 does it have a navigation joystick? Sky operation is 10 times easier in navigation mode, you would not get this issue.

I had similar problem when I installed a friends skybox what I ended up doing was switching of the sky box holding down back up button on sky at the same time put power lead back in with your hand still on back up button after 20-30 secs you should see three lights on sky box it's now downloading latest software after about 10 mins it should disappear then switch on sky box and hopefully that should be you :)

Hi Malcolm, the reason you are going to the planner is because your TV is sending the Play command to the Sky box. This command is a single press of 'Go' on the Beo4. Normally quickly double clicking Go sends the Select command, which is the one you want - but I have come across many Sky boxes where this just never seems to work. If you put your TV in Navigation mode and use the new Beo4 with navigation button then you solve this completely because you then have a dedicated Select button (pressing the joystick in). Navigation is also much easier - moving the joystick moves the banner or cursor on Sky, whereas pressing the diamond button (like a normal Beo4) does channel up/down, rewind etc. no more having to press Go-Left for rewind etc. you basically get a similar navigation to a Beo5/6, without the custom keys that can be added to the touch screen. It is a huge improvement over the old Beo4 for operating Sky.
