Bang&Olufsen App (iOS)

Hello,

+ I set up an account

+ Added a Product (Playmaker)

+ Signed in Deezer

+ Turned on iTunes Library (though I'm not sure what to expect)

+ Signed in TuneIn

Nonetheless, the app remains at the initial stage: the "Welcome" screen with the big button to "Add a product".  There is zero functionality.  Only by going to settings can one see that Deezer, TuneIn, the Product are all "on".

Is this normal?

Hi - Open the App - click on the Wheel in the top right corner - click BeoLink - push the slider to activate.

 

Now you have Deezer, TuneIn and so on.

Thank you Baronvejrup.

I have done that, with no result.

 

On a very basic level, the remains at its initial screen, asking to "add products", and no functionality is available.  However, if one clicks on the wheel at the right top of the screen, one can see that there is a product that has been added, with serial number and all, and Deezer, and TuneIn, etc.

 

Also, I have contacted customer support, which responded asking me to send them screen caps.  I have done that, and will report here the outcome of these enquiries.

The app only support configuration of Playmaker and NOT playback. Playback support is only for the newer products like Beoplay M3, M5 etc. - so yes, this is normal behavior.

Thank you for this information.  

It would have been relatively easy for the app itself to reveal this.  Also, it is interesting that customer service asked for screen caps as opposed to simply stating there is no functionality for my particular setup.
