Hi,

Is it somehow possible to connect my bl 17s wirelessly to a transmitter1, but connect the BL2 trough a powerlink cable?

Best,
KjetilA

Yes, if if for stereo or fronts to b&o tv.

What’s your setup?

Beovision 7-55 MK1 red, Beolab 10 red. Beolab 50, all black. Beolab 17 broken ice. Beolab transmitter. Apple tv4 and apple express 2.

It's for stereo. My setup is like this:

Samsung tv -> toslink -> transmitter1 -> bl17

No pre-amp and the samsung does only have toslink audio out.

I want to use a BL2 in my setup, but its not wireless. I know there is a wireless reveiver from B&O I can buy to put on the BL2 to make wireless, but I do not want to do this right now if I can avoid it.

For stereo you cannot mix wireless and wired. For this purpose I have ordered 2 x receiver 1 to add my BL 8000s to my current BL 18/19 stereo setup that is including a Samsung TV connected via optical to the TR1.

BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1

The wireless reciver only recive one channel, right or left.

No, you need 2 recivers. One for each channel and a special cable. 2 rj45 to one pl. A sub needs right and left channel.

Hi KjetilA,

You need to have just one connection for each speaker (either wired or wireless).  I can help with the cables to get these speakers working, either cabled to the TV, or wireless via Transmitter 1/Receiver 1 (please see my sponsor link below for more details).

Each speaker needs its own Receiver 1, (these are already built into Beolab 17, but 2 Receivers would be ideal if you want to use Beolab 2 as a stereo subwoofer, but this can be used in mono with a single Receiver).

Please let us know your preferred setup and we can assist further.

Kind regards, Steve.

Not sure why each speaker would need 1 additional receiver since the bl 17 already have it build in?

Hi,

Yes, the Receivers are already built into Beolab 17 so you just need 2 x Receivers to use Beolab 2 in stereo, or 1 x Receiver to use Beolab 1 in mono.  Sorry if my original post wasn't clear.

Kind regards, Steve.
