Hi
I have a pair of type 6302 S45s
These have the composite backs unlike the Mk.2
I have also notices that some of the Mk.1 S45s can also take the standard style B&O stands that seem common on these as they have threaded mounting points like the Mk.2s.
However the backs on mine have no threaded holes and instead have 3 slots running centrally down the speaker that look like they are designed to have the speaker hooked on to something.
So my question is did B&O make stands for this type of speaker? If so does anybody have any pictures of them as I can probably make some replicas up myself...
At a guess if they hooked on to a mounting point near the top and then the speaker rested against some rubber mountings further down this might work; I am not sure how different mounting arrangements affect the sound.
Thanks
Martyn
Dear martynmcg,
here on Beoworld you can find info about DIY procedure of stands for Beovos S45-2 stands.

Here is the picture form stand manual
Thanks for the reply however this is for the later S45-2 and I believe some of the other S45s however these wont fit mine.
I wondered if they made an earlier version of this stand.
