Living room: Beovision Eclipse 55, Beolab 3 / R1 (back), Beolab 2 / R1 (sub), AppleTV 4K. Bedroom: Beovision 11-40, AppleTV 4. Home office: Beoplay M5. Kitchen: Beoplay M5. Travel: Beoplay H8, Beoplay A1. NAS: WD My Cloud Home / Plex DLNA Server.
1. DLNA Album art ok for me (M5, Core, BS 1 were tested, no integrated setup)
3. Loop issue is supposed to be fixed by product updates if I remember well
BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1
Thanks for the feedback. I will look at the other sources. Shuffle repeat needs a product update as well, I will try it just the same for DLNA.
The issue with album art was that we use https and that didn't work for DLNA servers. We now use http and that fixed it in our setup. We have in the past seen that the products sometimes are behind when sending the meta data. If you open and close the player, is it still wrong?

Dyssegaard: I have just tried the DLNA playback again on my M5. If I step through the songs the album art is blank. If I then close the Now Playing view and opens it again the album art is updated correctly.

I do exactly that on my M5 and I can step through songs on an album and the album art is always shown.

Interesting observation, we will try this. The symptom could imply a product issue, but I hope not. Then it will be harder to fix.
Dyssegaard:I have just discovered the following regarding the DLNA cover art issue
@Dyssegaard tried it with 4 tracks from 4 different albums with shuffle and it worked on our Synology. What NAS are you using?
Didn't see your update. So the issue only happened on an integrated setup with minimserver?
I will look at the sensitivity

That makes it even more puzzling. We have a WD My Cloud now, I will try it
To Mr Andersen:
Please don't forget to add the virtual keyboard in the app for the Eclipse!!!

Unfortunately the shuffle function still doesn't work in my app when I select Eclipse and Deezer. Beosound and Core don't have any problems with it, maybe I just have a wrong setting?
And then I still have something on my wish list, but I know, first of all the app still needs some work and secondly it is clear to me that this is not easy to implement and thirdly I am perhaps one of the few who cry about it...
When I still owned vinyl and later CDs, I loved to flip through the collection and just let myself be inspired. Suddenly I discovered a cover of a band I hadn't heard in a long time and listened to the album again.
I don't mourn the old days any longer, but I really miss that, discover it. Today I get sterile lists which are just not fun to discover. Just scrolling up and down is just not fun.
Under the motto, "touch and discover your music collection", I have a suggestion:
Chaos cover art.
The principle is quite simple: on a black picture only the covers of the albums (favorites) are shown. Of course only a certain number, otherwise the whole thing is a bit confusing.
The whole thing should work like a kind of wheel. I can swip endlessly in one direction or the other and I am constantly presented with new covers.
The covers are displayed in different sizes, without systematics. The system decides continuously on his own.
If i find a cover exciting, I tap on it. Then I see the artist / name and the titles. Either I tap on the album, the album is played, or I tap on a song or I swipe on.
On an Ipad or something like that it would allow me to discover my collection again.
From my point of view this should work with albums and with songs (maybe with playlists). But of course I see the technical restrictions that Deezer might set.
I know I'm probably a dreamer here, but I just had to get rid of it. Maybe, when I'm retired, I'll program it myself.
Something like this....
Not sure if it due to the latest product software updates but multiroom management in the app is in trouble.
My Core is the master, I joined my M5 and my BS1 to it by physically pressing on product start button.
Looking at the the B&O app, it does not show the Core a being part of a Multiroom group the multiroom screen of the Core shows the M5 and BS 1 as potential candidates to join while both M5 and BS 1 are shown with the multiroom icon, AND, CAN NO LONGER BE CONTROLLED BY THE APP ....
I had to wait for several minutes before seing the correct status in the app, even after stopping/restarting the app.
Well, same here. Router restart helps. It seems, that all the B&O network devices are truly sensitive to network glitches, particularly on WiFi.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
mbolo01: The list comes from the product, restarting the app will not help. For some reason the products cannot "see" each other
jvezina: we have made the text input but decided to to release it yet. The LG part is very inconsistent in where this works and where it doesn't
PoulGiles: Sorry but what bug are you referring to?
MrAndersen: mbolo01: The list comes from the product, restarting the app will not help. For some reason the products cannot "see" each other
@MrAndersen: Thanks, good to know for further troubleshooting.
Now that "now playing queue" (NPQ) list loop issue has been fixed on all products (at least those that I own), it would be nice to have a NPQ track(s) insertion logic revisited :-)
The only product that does it the way it should (IMHO) for Albums is the Moment ..... and for Deezer albums only, not for DLNA ones, i.e. when a Deezer album is added to a Moment's NPQ, the latest is emptied first. Result is similar to adding a CD in a single CD player, previous CD is taken out.
Other kind of addition (Single Deezer track, single DLNA track or full album) to the Moment's NPQ have the same logic: track(s) are added after the latest played track of the NPQ, independently of the presence of other tracks which can result in a big mess is you don't fully listen to albums you have loaded ....
Other products behave as above.
MrAndersen: jvezina: we have made the text input but decided to to release it yet. The LG part is very inconsistent in where this works and where it doesn't
If the text input works for the search tool of the TV built-in media player (videos and music) , the built-in web browser, all the internal menus, and Youtube, that would be fine for me. Just put an explanatory text saying that the text input may not work at all places.
