I need to move my BeoVision 7-40, which is mounted on a motorized floor stand.

Can anyone give me any tips on how best to remove the TV from the stand i.e. do I need any special tools?

Thank you,

GC

There are only two umbraco screws on back plate that secured the tv. Remove those and two persons can lift it of. Or one if you lift like an idiot (like me)

Slightly tilt the stand and slide a towel under the base. You can now simply pull the towel and the TV will tag along. Easy as 1.2.3...

My wifes idea actually, she is a nurse and needs to move heavy objects (people) in a smart way Smile Even the 7-55 can be moved this way!

There might be the impossible case, but I have moved an AV9000 on an american carpet with the soft carpet cushion underneath this way.

Tilt the steel base with a crowbar, and place the towel. 3/4 coverage should be enough, and you are good to go!

Slide it in from the side if you want it back up against the wall.

On carpet you could use some double folded plastic, maybe?
