Hi,

is it possible using a Beolink Activ as audio master ?

Audio input on BL Activ with IR eye - ML cable to an another BL Activ / or a BL3500?

Hi Silou

unfortunately not, the audio input on the BL Active is the so called PC input and can only be selected locally.

I missed; PC is locally only !! 

What's about  BL Converter 1611 ? (An master seems to be necessary... )

My goal is to inject an external source into ML with the easiest/smallest "ML-managerdevice" .

Nope. A BeoSound product with ML would have to be present. Link kits cannot communicate with one another independently.

Hi,

the Beolink Converter 1611 can be used as a Masterlink Master for a Masterlink Network.

The audio has to be 'pushed' in via the DIN connector A.AUXLink. The signal will be sent on the masterlink bus and can be used with various Beolink Slave devices (BeoLab2000, BeoLab3500).

The sound can be remote controlled with a B&O remote ( Vol+/-, Mute, Standby, Balance ...) to switch on the Mastelink Slave any audio command can be used like RADIO, CD,TAPE,...

This definately works fine.
