Hi, i don't know your specific problems or requirements but in general it may not be too complicated to repair the motherboard.

If you swap it, do you already have a new motherboard ? Because those aren't easy to find in my experience.

But if you have, just place the bios chip and the HD from the old to the new board an you're done, no need for a service tool.

Better leave it at 1,5 GHz, not too much difference.

Put old BIOS chip in new Board and load defaults.

That should be all.

Do you have any experience repairing the motherboard? I have a non functioning one and was wondering if repair was possible.
