Dear app users, here's is a summary of some comments I could find in previous app related thread that are still valid with the new app iteration.
I may have missed some, or some have been fixed since, so feel free to update the list while keeping all the items grouped for better reading (copy paste with changes).
Hopefully someone in B&O still reads this forum and cares.

On the one hand, I can understand that MrAndersen is no longer active, with all those negative comments in the forum about the App. On the other hand, I can understand all users who are very disappointed by the App. Working on this list of mbolo01 would be a step in the right direction.
Virtual keyboard for the Eclipse when a menu where text input is required is encountered (for example search field).

The version 2.11 is available. It's incredible how well the Bang&Olufsen App management team is setting the right priorities. They managed to change the logo background for the B&O App and the loading spinner. I'm impressed, these are really the most important changes that were necessary to increase the rating of the B&O App and will convince all frustrated users. Great work, just keep it up, that will make Bang&Olufsen really great again!

For 2020 I have one big wish, that all above listed features / bugs of mbolo01 and jvezina are solved by B&O.

mbolo01:Apps freezing when Internet access is not available while local network access to products is functional.
PLEASE solve this issue PLEASE !!!
In order to safeguard my / our B&O assets when Bang & Olufsen get‘s bankrupt, it should be in all our interest to secure that we are still able to use (change settings / manage multiroom) our Bang&Olufsen products without running B&O servers / B&O back-end. Else we suddenly have electronic luxury scrape in our living rooms from one day to the next.
Unfortunately the possibility is high, that B&O is running out of cash, when B&O goes on like heavily loosing revenue.
So B&O please safeguard your existing customers assets, as highest priority. Perhaps they may buy more B&O equipment, if you can proof that your equipment is running without B&O servers. Like me, I would buy more B&O loudspeakers for my multiform set-up, but not knowing if I can still use it in case Bang & Olufsen A/S goes bankrupt, I will not buy! And I can't recommend it to anyone else.
It would be great, if the B&O could display the Cover-Art within the B&O app when using Airplay. When using Chromecast it is working great, the Cover-Art is shown. Why not when using Airplay? The information is available in the Airplay stream.

I have added the issue to the list.
I don't think B&O are following this forum anymore. I'll raise the issues to the B&O support and I encourage you to do the same, the more we are, more chances to have an opportunity for a fix or an enhancement.

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !
Just installed it, no improvements that are impacting me and old and very old issues are still there with a few exceptions.
Still unacceptable design mistakes.
What 3.00 is supposed to fix:

steve1977:Thanks. I was looking into a horizon and checked the threads on this forum. There are several ones saying that multiroom with the app is not fully supported. Can you anyone shed light what works and what doesn’t. What i’m hoping for would be to have a horizon symbol in the app, can start dlna or other music (without turning on the screen), can join to other nl speakers, can join from other nl speakers. Does this work and anything that is not working.
Fansastic:Regarding the Horizon, it is fully supported by the app now, same as any other beovision

It will still require me to use two devices: 1) b&o app to select music and select which audio NL devices to join (e.g., BS1), 2) Remote to turn on the beovision to join the audio stream. That’s not even a general “join”, but i’d need to select an NL device what stream to join from.
steve1977:Got it. thanks for the clarification. So, it works for all BVs (NL) and they turn on the tv when i press “+” in the multi-room view and play the stream. For eclipse/bv14/horizon, i need to turn the screen black manually? Did i understand this correctly? What about turning off the BV? Does it turn off once i “unjoin” the stream via the app? Or do i need the “second” remote for it?

I have a lot of equipment and find the app as helpful as the remotes and use them randomly together. In case only one modern BS or Beoplay needs to be operated I can understand the app feels to complex. So best advice, go see for yourself and see what scenario you want to run is workable with the app.

I also use both the app and my remotes - I’d really miss the app, if it was not there.
And I agree....everyone should find a workable way of dealing with it.
And I do understand that people with a single device and/or just some BT headphones would find it overkill
