Here is a drawing, where blue are actual ribbon cables and green a metallic spring use to keep the wires stiff (I believe) and where one in my case was broken and now makes rattling sound.

Thanks, they are the cables.

My 9000 is a Mark I so the cables are different.

I will send a photo shortly (after I have removed the motor wire!)

Its okay, I have figured it out.

The trick is to move the sledge midway and then dress the cables to the right.

Thanks once again.

My only thoughts on your instructions is to say how much the right hand pulley can move once you really apply pressure. Once loaded fitting the cable is much easier.

Sorry not being specific enough,

I thought that mentioning they're was a strong spring and a soft spring would be enough to figure it out when doing it.

Anyway, important thing is it's done and working!

Hi alls,

Just want to share a short story I can't keep to myself.

Yesterday I saw an ad for a second hand Beosound 9000 + 2 bola 8000 for 250€.
The time to call, the set was sold but to somebody just interested in the speakers.

The seller manage to negotiate a bit and sold the speakers for 150€, asking then to me 150, for the BS with floor stand. Deal.
The BS goes to my brother in law, I keep the floor stand. Of course the laser was off.

After checking, its was a MK3 9000. BUT, I still had my fried BS3000: same laser.

After surgery, TM, adjusting and control, the BS9000 just left my place for its new house, Mint and fully functional. And a lot more quite than my scratching sledge!

Hey Weebyx and Marexy, one more saved Big Smile

Happy week-end guys
