I just got a BS4 for 60 euro, glass did not move, and was very loose, and all the rubber is starting to turn into goo, otherwise, everything works fine :)
Glassdoor is as simple as a broken belt, but B&O(at least in DK) will not sell me one as spare part, they will only take the complete unit in for repair, which in turn means a cost of 3-4 times the price I bought the unit for, for a single belt !!
Come on B&O, let us keep some of the old stuff alive by our selves !!
Oh well, the question is, does anyone know where to source a belt of the correct size ?
Thanks.
P.S I have removed the black goo on the front panel, and cd-bay with nail-polish, and after some plastic primer, and mat black spray paint, it looks a million again :) Now just need to do it on the body also...

I've been looking for a belt for my BC900 - and stumbled across turntableneedles.com Can't say if they are any good but they seem to have a lot of stuff.
Did you try to buy it directly from B&O or through a dealer? I recently bought a locking mechanism for a BeoPlay V1 through the dealer in Esbjerg without any problems so maybe they're worth a try?

I tried my dealer, they could not buy it, or so they say.
I will try the Esbjerg dealer :)
Belt found ;)
Thanks
Good to hear that you found a belt
Hi,
Same problem, were did you find the belt ? =)
Thanks!!
Answer to myself and those wich may need this information :
It is a 1,7mm radius belt, diameter 50mm (mesured 102mm lineary on the brocken one). Originaly it is round, but I've fit a square one and it works like a charm. Have bought on Amazon a batch of belt and you will find the good one in it !
Cheers
