Hello,
Not sure if the subj is representative, but I recently got a Beomaster 5000 that 'just' needed no-load current adjusted in one channel. So it plays fine.
Yesterday i discovered, that when there is signal on TP1 (Cambridge Audio Stream Magic 6) it plays this, no matter which input i select. When PH1 is selected, it will happily play PH1 and TP1 signals overlayed .
This can't be normal behaviour ? I'm handy with both soldering iron and scope and do have the service manual at hand, but could really need a hint as to which direction to look ?
Beogram TX, Beovox S45, Beovox MC 120.2, BeoSound 1, CX50, Beovox S75, Beomaster 2400, Beomaster 5000, Beogram 5005
Could be that the wrong pins in the TP1 DIN plug are used.= Playback is done backwards through the record signal path.If so resolder the cable to use the correct pins - or replace the cable/adapter with one meant for playback rather than recording.
Martin
Thank you Martin,
I'm using the jack-plugs (phono-plugs?), so that cannot be the case. Forgot to write that little detail. So it could be because i have connected the jack-plugs on outputs rather than inputs ?
Yes, it could be.Should be easy to check.
Forgot all about this post, but of course I had used the outputs. Tx Martin :-)
